I can’t lie the tacos authentico were pretty disappointing..I got barbacoa and al pastor tacos and they weren’t hot…just kind of warm. They weren’t seasoned well so it tasted bland. The tortillas tasted like something you’d buy from Walmart and the limes were bitter. I expected more for $13 especially since the food trucks only charge like $9. On the bright side the service was good and the employees were very pleasant.
This Sabor location has been a reliable spot for me every single time. I can’t help but order at least one barbacoa empanada on each visit. Today, I got the quesabirria meal as well, and it was perfect. Right amount of cheese. Slight crisp on the edge. Not too oily. The consommé was also well done. The meal came with chips and choice of salsa from the self serve bar. $6 margs on Saturdays but I opted for a Modelo with lime for today.

Comfortably sized interior with a cute patio outside.
Excellent choice of standard proteins like Al Pastor, Grilled/Shredded Chicken and Chorizo. Empanadas make great appetizers. For premium proteins I recommend the Barbacoa and Grilled Shrimp.
Perfect with a side of maduros and served according to preference. Taco, burrito, or a bowl. I love the Arepa!
