Had to give a star to do a review first of all the server come to our table with his hands on our silverware I asked for plastic OK we ordered. I plainly say it no cheats so he brought the food out. Of course I had cheese on my food. He had to take it back and when he brought my food back, the food was cold. How do you serve cold grits? The service was terrible. The food was terrible. I would not recommend this waffle house to customers and I do believe in tipping, but with this server, he did not deserve a tip.

I am visiting from Indiana. This has got to be one off your best units. Extremely friendly, great breakfast. Manager totally under control, reminding crew to be friendly and hospitable. My eggs were a perfect over medium. I am extremely impressed. When I come over to the Carolinas, I wibreakfast. make time for a GREAT breakfas. Wow! Ps. Cleanliness was also on point everyone sweeping and keeping busy doing side work.

Organization is awesome. Service great. Came to the restaurant when it Was packed. Got To watch a well run organization. Amanda my server was wonderful. Talked to the manager John and told him how great the organization was!!! Definitely recommend!!!!

I don’t want to give this Waffle House a bad review. Just wanted to leave my experience today 08/23/25. I Walked in about 5:55 pm and no one was there. Walked in and a lady down at the far end of the restaurant looked up and mumbled welcome. There was a young man sitting there also that appeared to be resting his head on the counter. I made a comment that they must be taking a little nap and the lady said something like they deserved it. She said sit anywhere and I took a seat. They both got up and started moving and I ordered 2 black coffees, she said she would need to make some and I said that would be great. Two more customers were seated and she took their orders, by this time my husband had come in and joined me. She stood down by where the young man was making preparations to start cooking and never served the coffee. When we finally asked if she could get the coffee she responded that she was busy at the moment. By now they had a table of four that had entered. We ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, raisin toast and hash browns on one and cheese grits on the other. When she finally served the food I went to move my plate and it was very cold. My husband took one bite of his eggs and said these are just lukewarm, I tried mine and they were the same. We both said we will deal with it but he took a bite of his hash browns and they were completely cold and so was the toast. My grits were hot but nothing g else was. The lady continued to stand down by the young man cooking so I had to get up and ask her if we could speak to her a minute, she reluctantly walked to our table and we told her the food was cold except for the grits. Her reply was that could not be possible that she served them right away, I said well you need to try them because they are cold. Her attitude was not what we have always experienced at that Waffle House. With that we just said you know we will pay you for the coffee and find another place to eat. She took the food and walked away, we went to the register to pay for the coffee and she didn’t respond, the young man cooking came to the register but refused to let us pay. I highly expect that the food being served on a plate that was ice cold had something to do with the food being cold snd the fact that she did not serve it right away. Her attitude from the very beginning wasn’t good. We eat there often and have never experienced this kind of service before.

I'm actually still in the parking lot. I had to come on and give a review. This was the cleanest, quickest, and best tasting food I've ever had at Waffle House. And there was only 2 people working. Whoever hired these 2 did a very good job!
Good place when elsewhere is closed, food reasonable and very good service

We had a party of 6 so finding comfortable seating was a little different Especially with one of the ladies behind the counter constantly letting our server know to make sure she put all of us on one check. Besides that the food was great and Kathy made our experience here really nice. Thanks Kathy for normalizing an awkward situation.

Got all the food I ordered, plenty of coffee refills, and didn't have any problems with service, despite it being busy.

Anthony was the best waiter I have had in any restaurant. He was so energetic, polite, and kind, he even sang when the table was ready. That guy deserves a raise or a bonus, because he is doing his job perfect!!!!
