“We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and we were the only ones in there at the time. The waitress was awesome, and could handle our silly jokes. The food was amazing and if we are ever in the area again, we still stop!!Also, keep an eye out for our YouTube channel!! (Inside joke)“

“We went yesterday for the first time. I got the ultimate club and my husband got the chicken parm, everything was phenomenal. Even the side pasta salad & loaded potato salad were amazing. The Farmhouse is truly a hidden gem in Duplin County.“

“First Timer...Had Arnold Palmer Refills served up just as the previous one was emptied without having to utter a word. The Fried Chicken is Very, Very Good, including the sides (coleslaw & potato salad) I picked. The food is worth coming back for in order to try the different choices on the menu combined with the Awesome Service and Friendly Atmosphere.“

“this location is pretty good compared to the kenansville one. orders are accurate, waitresses actually listen and speak up, they don't rush you and they're not rude. working for tips doesn't mean we have to tip them and i think some of the other locations forget that! i highly recommend this one.“

“This popular stop on HWY 111 has a long history dating back to the prohibition era. In my younger days, any visit would include an agonizing defeat to my Uncle Tank in checkers. King me! However, the new business owners have made a noticeable upgrade: a full state of the art stainless steel kitchen. For me that means more eggs and sausage and a quick visit with Jerry Stroud himself. Of course you got gas, hardware, and cold drinks which makes it the most important last stop before heading to your cottage at the beach. Inquire for catering.“
