“I was looking for a different place to eat and found this out of the way diner. I found it after googling "breakfast in Wallace, NC". After swiping through all the fast food places, this popped up. The food was great! I got the Southern Omelet with a side of grits and a biscuit. It was definitely homemade cooking. I highly recommend you visit this diner. You better bring cash though, that's all they take. (ATM inside)“
“I ate at this highway 55 today for the first time. This location has been here for many years, and I had passed by it on many occasions. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service at this location today. Although they were not busy at all, the staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was very good for fast food. Would highly recommend this location.Vegetarian options: Highway 55 restaurants are obviously kind of burger focused restaurants, but they do offer some salads, and grilled cheese. As well as fries onion rings etc. You can eat here if you're on a vegetarian diet. Probably wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who is strict veganDietary restrictions: They do have some variety of salads and other items which can fit a restricted dietParking: This restaurant has plenty of free parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this fast food restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is entirely ground level. Wheelchair accessibility is not an issue here. Spaces between tables are plenty wide for pulling up a wheelchair to one of the tables or at the end of a booth.“
“Well after visiting the area attempting to go to Duplin winery (wrong information on Maps)….But so glad they were closed because this place was exactly what we wanted!! They had hot fried SPOTS (that’s fish for any northerner reading this) we☺️loved this place laid back low key. Good wait staff. Truly a gem in Rosehill!!“
“This was a first time experience for myself with my father. I had been told many times that this restaurant was good but expensive. The first assertion was absolutely correct, but the second I believe is incorrect; the prices are fair for the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the meal. I ordered a cheeseburger; it was immense, the patty was thick, and it had fresh jalapeños, as I asked for them. My father ordered their fried shrimp, and let me tell you that I am often disappointed by shrimp in many restaurants, to the extent that I have given-up on trying to find some that are fresh and larger than a quarter. My dad’s shrimp were slightly larger than a half-dollar and they were fresh, deveined, and lightly battered; I was impressed. The hostess was polite and the waiter was prompt, instinctive, and happily made our order to-go when I realized my father had an appointment and we couldn’t dine-in. I hope you have a similar experience.“
