Allie was an amazing bartender!! Super friendly and nice. I didn’t have to wait at all on my drinks and I would highly recommend her services to everyone for a great experience!🤩
Thank you for a NO KIDS ALLOWED SECTION!Death of Breweries = Screaming kids everywhere. Drinkers who spend money, don’t want kids - Not here! Awesome - Great beers! Thank you!
Cool vibe, good food. Allows dogs.
Tips should be related to the quality of the services provided by a bar/restaurant. in the case of Ecusta brewery the amount of services provided is negligible. Therefore, there is no reason to tip the employees.
Nevertheless, the employees were demanding a tip from me and when I told them that the employer should pay them, not the clients, they told me that the next time that I come to the brewery they will deny me service.
I am a firm believer of living wages but the employer needs to pay the employees, not the clients.
Came to Ecusta yesterday after a hike at DuPont with friends. The beer and food were good but the service was NOT!! I went to look for a table outside and all the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned. I went inside and found a table but it was also dirty. I asked the barmaid to clean the table and she gave me a spray bottle and bar cloth!!! She had no intention of cleaning it for us!!! I even asked for ice for my Coke and said “I can only give you a little bit”! It’s a bar and I can’t have a cup of ice????
Came here twice so far and don’t plan to go back as I don’t like cleaning my own table or not being allowed to get a cup of ice at the bar. Customer service and cleanliness was below par!! I’d rather go somewhere else where I feel welcomed.
I love this brewery! First off, they have a whole separate room and patio that is designated as child-free. For those with their kiddos in tow there is plenty of space and outdoor areas with open seating. The food here is delicious, the beer is great and with the views off towards fields and mountains…and no one running around screaming… it’s a very chill, and truly lovely experience at Ecusta. Bravo.
Absolutely love brewing companies such as Ecusta! The atmosphere was great and the beer selection was even greater. I got their pink beds sour and it instantly became a favorite of mine. My fiancé even got some to go! We also got the loaded nachos from Gordingo's (Mexican inspired resturant located within the brewery) and they were definitely a hit! Highly recommend!
Found this off the beaten path. What a great detour! It's like it was plopped there, open concept, food and flights. IPA are on point
Love the beer here at Ecusta but love the food even more. If you stop by here after a day in the woods at pisgah, don’t leave without getting the loaded nachos or the carne asada fries. You will thank me later!
Stopped in Saturday after driving with my car club all day excited to try a new brewery and hang out. Woman taking orders at the window of the mexican restaurant was completely rude to me and several others of us ordering and waiting for our orders. There were so many people in there that day it was hard to not be in someone’s way. Three of us tried to tuck ourselves out of the way of the front door and the soda fridge which I guess still wasn't good enough for this woman because she told us to “please go somewhere else” with a rude expression on her face.
This is also after looking for a bottle opener, finding it on the wall next to her and not using it correctly in her opinion so she grabbed my drink out of my hand after yelling “no” and rolling her eyes and doing it for me.
Needless to say, I wont be back.

We drove into town on Monday Oct 13, we were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and watch Monday night football. We found the Ecusta Brewing Co. online, open until 9:00pm. We arrived at 7:45, walked into the building, there is a window to order food to the left, there were 2 people standing at the window, we peeked at the menu on the wall while we waited. After the 2 customers left the window, we noticed the person taking orders pulled a shade down on the window. We were confused, we peeked under the blind and asked if they were closed and they said yes. We stated the website said that you close at 9:00 PM someone else spoke up and said that’s only on the weekends. It appears that the brewery is open until nine but the food service inside is only open until 8 PM. They obviously saw us in line, looking at the menu on the wall. I would not be writing the bad review if the staff had explained to us that they were already closed, closing a few minutes early etc however, they just pulled a shade down over the order window. Very rude! Won’t be back. Turned out ok, we went to Corky’s Dawg House and it was delicious! Great service and they put the football game on for us!
Gordingos staff unbelievably rude! Standing in line, waiting to order and woman taking orders looked straight at the 4 of us and shut the blinds without saying a word. It was 7:45 and no one else was behind us in line. We asked thru the closed blinds if we could still order and were told no they were closed. This was our first visit and we were excited about the atmosphere and brewery. Needless to say we left and took our business elsewhere. I would go back for the brewery but will definitely not go back to Gordingos. ☹️
Excellent brews and Excellent food...friendly staff with great suggestions...always a go to when traveling to/from Asheville.
