I don’t like NC style BBQ - it’s crazy to me to “pickle pork” cause that’s what vinegar does - it pickles - but this NC style of BBQ is damn good - so good I actually went back multiple times - would highly recommend their coleslaw too!

The perfect lunch spot! Everyone was so friendly. Service was fast. The cheeseburger, blt, and catfish were our favorites! The pricing is so reasonable you'd think you were in a movie scene from the 80s!

The food was great but the service was less than expected and on the edge of being rude ,the older lady basically said take what we serve or someone else will ,they seem like they could care less about growing the business and act like they can't actually take care of the customers they have attitude ,she said if we want the BBQ chicken or ribs better get there by 4 or it will all be gone ,apparently they only cook a certain amount and when it's gone they turn ppl away .we ask about desserts and the only thing they had left was banana pudding but by the time we finished our meal they was out of it .great local restaurant ,food is great but im sure they could increase thier business alot if they cooked more food and had better service and friendly waitresses .we drove about a hour and half to get there and probably won't ever go back although the food was amazing 😋

Very nice upbeat young lady took my order very sweet,got to talk to ppl whom live locally,very nice..Ordered 3 bbq sandwiches so good,a hot dog all the way,a fried flounder sandwich and 1/2 dozen hush puppies,.Everything was hot and fresh!!!so good.Will definitely be back &highly recommend.
