Food is always fresh and yummy! Everyone is always friendly, Customer service is top notch. Even though they’re busy when I come thru, I still get my food fresh and quick. High five Als Diner crew!
Down home cooking food, wide selection from menu, lunch specials with chicken salad and soup. Ice t's very good as well.

This is an old fashion type diner that has amazing choices for main dishes. You will be very happy with whatever you choose as it tastes like it was homemade by someone who knows how to cook. Most choices involved picking your main course and then choosing two sides. There must have been twenty side items to choose from. I'm not sure how it's possible to do what they do, but it's a great place and we will definitely go back.

If I had false teeth they would have fallen out 3 hot dogs right at 17 dollars that's way to high and to tell you the truth they really wasn't good the bun wasn't even steamed or warmed up that's my last time that we eat there the 3 hot dogs were just out ragously high
Great people good food

Came here to get two hotdogs and a fry for my small child and had asked the woman what the total was and she assumed I wanted to cancel my order and slammed the window shut on me while I was talking to her still telling her what I wanted. So I parked my car, waited and drive-through for her to open the window to confront her, and then she contained to slam the window in my face again, telling me to have a good day as I was expressing my concerns. It was some older white woman, not sure who I had to wait at the window for a manager, who then finally apologized before I decide to leave and not even take the order. Terrible customer service extremely rude for no reason, I was literally picking up food for my child.

I've been wanting to try Al's for a while and on our way home from another destination we have it a try.
We got seated quickly, but unfortunately just missed the breakfast cut off. Oh, well, there were plenty of choices for lunch so looked it over.
I got a vegetable plate. My choices were baked beans, which didn't seemed baked at all, just warmed up out of a can, boiled cabbage that could have cooked longer since it was still quite hard, a potato casserole that was so-so, and a roll that was just okay. Honestly, the whole place was kind of disappointing.
My spouse had the seafood plate and enjoyed the shrimp and hush puppies, loved the green beans, and thought the cabbage was okay. Suffice to say, she faked better than me.
The demeanor of the wait staff was half and half. Two of them were really nice and pleasant and the other two were pretty grumpy.
The decor was quite with lots of tin signs of food products.
Overall for my food choice was a letdown. Price wise it was good. Too be honest, if I'm in the town again I might give it another try, but S&T is a big draw me for their friendliness, food choices that always hit the mark, and the great ice cream concoctions.

Place seems very clean. They have a drive thru which makes parking difficult. My husband had the blt and I had the Greek (spinach) omelet with hash brown potatoes and a grilled biscuit. The hash brown potatoes weren't hash browns but cubed potatoes. I wouldn't grill my biscuit in the future - it made it greasy. Everything tasted good. It was an inexpensive meal.

Sawmill Gravy covering a country fried steak atop a biscuit. Order from the drive through or come in and stay a while. Coffee helps the morning along. How much easier could a slow morning go in a nice diner? A short walk from the library. It doesn't need it, but I added a pinch of salt. Many things bad for the heart are good for the soul.
