Wonderful restaurant! The food was to die for, the drinks were delicious, and the service was impeccable. My friends and I had a reservation here after going to the Carolina Tiger Rescue and I'd honestly drive back to Pittsboro from Greensboro just to visit here again!

I would have to say Postal Fish Company is one of the best seafood restaurants in the Triangle area. An don't miss the smoked trout and fried saltines appetizer!

Postal used to be excellent, but lately it’s become hit or miss. I've visited multiple times over the past year, and they still haven’t been able to staff the grill. It’s disappointing, especially given the premium prices.

This place is such a gem! The owners, servers, chefs, truly care about the quality of their food and giving the absolute best service to their guests to make the the whole experience from start to finish impeccable! During our visit, my boyfriend and I shared a fine bottle of Chianti wine. The server was so gracious as to always top off our glass as we finished. For appetizers we did a fish spread with relish served with saltine crackers. Very tasty! The hush puppies were really good as well. For the entrees I had a dumpling in the most delectable sauce with heirloom tomatoes. My boyfriend got the swordfish dish. We both ate every single bite, it was so delicious! Would love to go back soon to try some more food!

We recently visited this restaurant for what we hoped would be a relaxed family meal. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a surprising and disappointing policy.

Our young child used the crayons provided by the restaurant and, as young kids do, ended up getting some crayon on the table. Nothing excessive—just typical kid stuff that could easily be wiped clean. To our shock, we were told this would result in a $150 charge.

We fully understand the importance of respecting property and being responsible guests, but this felt like an extreme overreaction to a very minor, easily fixable situation—especially considering the crayons were offered by the staff. Mistakes happen, and families with children should feel welcome, not penalized.

We left feeling frustrated, especially since we were given the message about the surcharge while our dinner plates were being delivered & the owner never came to our table to talk about the situation. Instead, he sent his employees to relay the messages and deal with the repercussions.

Very disappointed with the owner.
Kevin, our waiter, did no wrong and handled the situation the best that he could (while trying to follow the directions of the owner). As a business owner myself, this was just bad business when it comes to employee treatment and customer service.

I had the featured rainbow trout and while it was good, (not exceptional) for the price I would have expected additional sides to accompany it. Generally speaking the seafood is fresh and appealing, but the preparation is fairly basic.

I would love to tell you how the food was. It’s a pretty pricey menu. We had reservations but refused to stay b/c there was a large party w/ very young very loud children. They had just been seated and the kids were rowdy. Not a good date night spot at all. Sad. Has anyone ever heard of a babysitter ?

Our go-to for seafood in PBO. Solid wood chairs and banquette (pews?) aren't the most comfortable (raining, so no outdoor option this visit). I wish they'd freshen up the menu every now and then. Good service, great cocktails, love the old post office setting.
