Wonderful cafe. Great breakfast menu. Great coffee. Friendly staff with cozy indoor seating and a pleasant garden for outdoor seating. The specials are creative and often worth trying. They had a south american stuffed pepper dish the last time I was there, that was the best meal I've had all month.

The tuna melt is so memorable delicious! The dish of the day (mussels with mildly spicy polenta with fresh cherry tomatoes) was superb. Small sitting area, super casual. You won’t wrong trying anything here.

Amazing little cafe with delicious breakfast. The chef is a superstar and his grits are legendary. The staff is lovely and the cafe itself is cute.

It’s rare to find good homemade meals with flare and to feel the love that went into the chopping and prep. We found all that here. The special we tried was part of their Novels & Nibbles theme. This month features the Stuffed Poblano from Like Water for Chocolate. Amazing, yummy, want some more of it. We vote for them to keep this dish on the menu permanently; the cinnamon, crunch of the walnuts, and sausage blended stuffing was mouth watering scrumptious.

I love visting their whimsical space to eat and work. They did a wonderful job catering a drop off breakfast meal as well. The food is excellent. Highly recommend.

I ate brunch at the Small Cafe today and it was wonderful! The food (freshly made cream of mushroom soup and a tuna salad) were excellent as was the coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be going back again.

Enjoyed a breakfast date here with my husband. The lemon ricotta pancakes were unbelievably fluffy and so so good. My husband’s eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sourdough toast were all perfectly cooked and delicious. Menu items were locally sourced as an added bonus. We look forward to coming back and trying other offerings. Highly recommend!!!

Best brunch in Chatham County! Always delicious, but especially enjoyable when you can enjoy their patio on a sunny morning.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Pittsboro. I go at least once a week, do not judge me. This place has fresh food, great customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. If you want a great brunch on the weekends, go check them out!
