My biggest complaint about The Mod is that their website doesn't list events in any kind of order, if at all - the top event is from August 2023 and the events listed for this December are from April. For those of us that don't do Facebook, we're locked out so I don't know if it's any better. I suspect that if the events were advertised better, there would be more people that would come out. I hope someone sees this... because we really like The Mod.

We stopped into The Mod on the way back home from Jordan Lake. Husband was interested in the wood fired pizza so this was definitely the place to go.
We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a pizza. It wasn't that busy when we were in there. The bartender was attentive and provided excellent service. The pizza arrived quickly and it was quite delicious! The beer selection they had for the day was nice. My husband liked what he ordered.
If we are ever back in Pittsboro, we'll definitely stop back in to The Mod!
Parking: Parking is easy. Park on the street or park in the free parking across the street from the restaurant.

I met my friend for lunch & it was delightful. We both ordered the same thing, which was a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The Caesar dressing was tangy & delicious. Definitely house-made. Our server was attentive & the vibe of the restaurant was upbeat & friendly. I recommend!
Cool bar in Pittsboro with live music, darts, billiards, and connect four. They have a good beer list, liquor, and food options. Check it out!

Didn't get a chance to order any pizza, but amazing environment. Went to go see the band Toxic play. Great band and would enjoy to see them there again. Loved the pool tables and the new friends I've made there as company. All around great place to hang out

A mediocre attempt at authentic woodfired Pizza, The dough was burnt on the edges and in the middle with bits of crispiness and raw dough in other spots, A clear sign the oven was not at proper temperature in order to make the dough rise and render the rest of the ingredients., The pepperoni was very inconsistently sliced so you had chunks that were lukewarm and other thinly sliced pieces burnt, which made for a overdose of sodium In every bite..
