This is a really good place for local food well prepared and served with kindness. My wife had oxtails and I had whiting fish. The portions were generous and nicely flavored. Looking forward to a return visit.

I just met my family! And the food was so delicious! Good soul food country cooking. You can’t beat it! The grilled pork chops, baked turkey wings, rice, cabbage, green beans, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, cakes, tea and lemonade were all very good. Try it, you won’t be disappointed! The food was so good, we started eating and I had forgotten to take the pictures first. 😂

I drove 2hrs and 20 mins to come here to eat and I will be doing it again. The food was amazing and so was the kindness they showed me, I felt like I was at home eating mama’s cooking. Go enjoy some down home cooking y’all!

This was a pleasant surprise for me as a non meat eating person to find on our visit down to Princeville, NC. The people were wry friendly and food was amazing. I had the Plantbased BBQ Chicken Plate. My husband had the fried fish. Stop by and you won’t be disappointed.
