We went to try it. Went in, there was 2 other tables and the rest of the space was empt. There was 2 people working and no sign to say to seat yourself or not. Neither of the 2 people working even acknowledged us. We finally just sat ourselves thinking that’s what we should do since they wouldn’t acknowledge us. Excellent food, wine and service. Always good!
There’s not a lot in the way of fine dining here in Tarboro, so we’re grateful to have On The Square. We visited for the first time last week for a little family celebration. The atmosphere is simple but nice. The service was efficient. The staff were friendly. The food was delicious. Though it’s a finer dining experience, we were also allowed to bring our toddler, which we appreciate. Of course we’d have excused ourselves had he become disruptive.
