Staff was polite and attentive. Place was full when we went in, so the staff was busy working. (Manager on site with 3 cooks and 3 wait staff.) The food was cooked right in front of us. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! We went inside to order takeout for our first visit, and we're looking forward to our next visit. (The building is a little old and a bit small, but they make it work. In my opinion, it adds to the charm of the place. Has a diner vibe, which is intentional.)

The general idea of highway 55 is a good one however at this location it was very unkempt and needed major updating and cleaning throughout the entire dining area and kitchen area.The staff did not have a manager on duty that was very concerning considering the ensemble of employees that was present. (Kind of felt like Children of the Corn sorry). But in no instance should I order a banana split and it comes out to me COMPLETELY melted. FSA should definitely stop in.
