I usually go to manhattan daily a few times A week the last time I went. It was very dissatisfying and a pity because they have now lost my service. So I ordered a burger for me and my husband everything was correct on it, but the bun was hard and the bun was different. I called the store and asked about it and let them know that my bun was hard. The cook said I had to physically bring the sandwich back for him to see it and examine it before he would remake it or give me a refund. I am a store manager. I was the only one at work. I sent someone to get my food. There should be no reason I should have to physically show you a sandwich if I'm telling you that my bread is hard before you remake. My food that's very disrespectful. I had to shut down my place of business to go across the street to get my Refund, I will no longer continue to give them my service several times a week even though they are the closest thing to me in Raeford I literally work across the street from there.

The “restaurant” itself is filthy. Ordered two burgers/fries meals and two sandwiches for pickup. All 4 orders were incorrect, both burgers had incorrect toppings and sandwiches were missing/substituted items without notifying the customer which we didn’t know until we showed up to pay. Fries were inedible and tasted liked very old cooking oil. Pastrami and roast beef were well beyond fresh (grey) and suited for the trash only, no rye bread or non-diet sodas available that supposedly came with a combo. Staff was indifferent at best and unconcerned about complaints.

I ordered 2 sandwiches and paid $25 and live 45 miles away. I said "No mayo, no mayonnaise" atleast 3 times during the order. Got all the way home and the sandwich I specifically asked to not have mayo on it, has mayo on it. Disappointing experience.

The day I went there was my first time, the service was wonderful and the food was great! Thank you, guys.
My husband went to Manhattan deli on 12/18/23. He order two chicken Philly’s combos. They didn’t have bacon, water, no long hero bread, or to go bags for to go order’s. My husband was charge regular price for a meal he didn’t order. Our Philly was on a small roll instead of a long hero bread. I called and spoke to the short man at the cash register counter. I asked to speak with the manager, he told me the manager was in the hospital. And he was following the manager’s orders.

I’m from New York and I’m always looking for a good sub that reminds me of it, this place is super close. I’ve had the food twice, once here and once in the mall, and it’s super good. My only criticism is 1) we were sold drinks and then found out ourselves after there was only Diet Pepsi and diet Mountain Dew 2) it’s a little dirty. I can tell tables aren’t moved and cleaned under cause there was a build up of dirty around the legs. Clean the place up and little and bring up the atmosphere and it’ll be a banger. Staff is also really friendly and chill

I’ve been in the area for about 6 years, and I love a good hot pastrami sandwich. Everywhere I have tried so far is pretty underwhelming. Manhattan Deli is the first place that made me say “I think I’ll need to come back tomorrow for another one”
