1887 Bistro

I dont know why anybody would come here. Came for a quick lunch at talley and waited half an hour before my server came and talked to me - and I had to flag him down to get him to come over.

I ordered the turkey reuben which was supposed to come on rye, it didnt, and tasted like something I could throw together in a panini press. It wasn't bad, but I expect better for $11.

I would look for other options in the area.

The steak quesadillas and the spinach artichoke dip along with the tortilla chips were very delicious. I enjoyed how the restaurant constantly plays Drake music! Will come back again.

On NCSU campus in Talley, but not the best place to grab food between classes because of the wait. I don't know if they're understaffed or what but it took almost 40 minutes to get our food one time.The food itself is good though, so without time constraints I would recommend it.

Good food but half the time I don’t get any chips with an $11 sandwich.. we’re college students make this stuff more affordable

Overhyped

If you are on or near NC State campus 1887 Bistro is centrally located and very nice spot to meet someone for lunch. Good menu selection. The waitress was a little hard to connect with. Food was timely and fresh. Good price. But added chicken to a salad...I got 4 little pieces.

horrible. they decided to let me sit and wait for a server to seat me for 30+ minutes until they decided that they were only taking grubhub orders. thanks for telling me that AFTER lunch switched over to dinner, so i couldn't even get the dish that i wanted in the first place!! i could even see the manager (the guy who looks like bootleg pitbull or walmart brand andrew tate) standing around talking to the other workers, and they could see me (and some other people) waiting to be seated. did they care? obviously not. thanks for wasting my time ?✨?✨?

You can quite literally throw a dart at the menu and order because everything is guaranteed to be delicious. Also I have 3 words for you- Get the tortellini!

They were out of an item that I included when I was doing the online order. When I went to pick up they replaced that item from another one that I can't eat, and they did not let me know about it. I just realized about it when I opened the package at home.
