Amazing Uzbek restaurant. I can't speak to authenticity but man, everything was flavorful yet restraint enough that you don't get overwhelmed with spices. I liked it so much that I went to watch some videos on YouTube of Uzbek food, and this looked just like what is in a local restaurant! Uzbek cuisine got a new subscriber, and kudos to Karavan for representing local food!
We always love the food here. While they serve Italian including pizza, we always come for the uzbecki food. My wife loves the lentil soup and I've had the other soup 2 times now. We also got the dumplings both fried and steamed, and the cheesy bread. Very reasonably priced food and delicious.
Having never tried Uzbek cuisine, we got a wide variety of dishes to sample and everything was absolutely delicious. We hit it off with our server Zayn immediately and he’s become a part of our family! Totally worth the drive for me, I look forward to having the khachapuri and borscht in particular again sometime soon 🙌🏻.
