There's no restaurant like this in this address. It takes you to a shady part of Raleigh.

The Lamb Haneeth (lamb with bones and a combination of rice and potatoes) is the best thing on the menu. The Lamb is so tender that it falls right off the bones. You also get salad, soup and tea on the house. The tea is placed in a container right near the entrance and you have to get it yourself. They were closed for quite some time and opened under a new banner, possibly a change in ownership, so call ahead before going.

Excellent food! Everything you order comes with soup and a shared Salad. It was amazing unfortunately I didn't take any pictures but literally everything on the menu is amazing. Very nice homey feel while your eating as if it is made with love. Meat is super tender and full of flavor. People are very nice. Definitely going back. They also have really good free tea after you eat.

We went for lunch, and it was delicious! You have to try the Mango drink, it was nice and refreshing on a hot summer day.

Excellent, authentic Yemeni cuisine. We went for lunch (in Yemen, the traditional main meal of the day), and had ful medames, salta, and grilled whole fish. All were delicious, reminding me of my time in Yemen years ago. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Be sure to check out the beautiful photos of Yemen on the walls. A fun place to go when you are in the mood to try something different.

I found a deal online and my colleague and friend enjoys trying new things like I do, especially tasty unique foods full of flavor. That's indeed what we got. I was a little skeptical when we arrived as it was empty and a little small. It really took us by surprise and I was happy with the suggestions we received. The hummus is a must, what makes it different from the normal hummus you eat is the sesame seed butter and olive oil. The bread was out of this world. I would go back just to get the hummus and bread for a snack! We also ordered the Chicken Agda, ground chicken with spices, cardamom and veggies. Also the Chicken Kabsa, half chargrilled with a yummy yellow lemon rice. My most favorite dish which I didn't expect at all was the Fahsah...shredded lamb with a tomato base and okra and other veggies that came out sizzling...WOW. Try it out and get out there give it a try and share your meals with me!

After hearing about this place and reading the reviews for it, my family and I were excited to try the traditional Yemeni dishes we've heard so much about. Upon arriving at the location though we felt uneasy as it's in a small corner in a dark parking lot, not quite visible and open. Location is a bit sketchy. Once we arrived we noticed the lovely decorations, but sadly the dirty dishes on other tables weren't our favorite feature. Overall it was alright and the free tea and soup were a great welcome. As for the food and experience itself, we loved the Lamb Fahsa and the Bormah Lamb! The food was hot and ready to be devoured. The other dishes were a bit slightly under-seasoned for our taste but still a wonderful introduction to Yemeni food and culture. The one other downside besides location was having to ask the staff for things constantly (water, plates), but overall the experience was pleasant and I'm hopeful our next visit will be wonderful! Come here for traditional Yemeni food!

As soon as we sat down at a table, a waitress brought us soup and salad. The soup, which had a piece of lamb in it, was delicious so we expected that the entrees would be just as good.

So good. You walk in and know for a fact that the food is gonna be homemade deliciousness. Lamb Haneeth all the way, and 100% acceptable to eat with your hands (tastes better that way anyways). Yea, it's not in the best area, and you're not gonna get a fancy restaurant vibe, but this is REAL cooking for people trying to experience REAL middle eastern food.

Went here with a group to experience some traditional Yemeni food. It's definitely a hole in the wall, and I wouldn't walk around this area of Raleigh at night for sure, but there's plenty of parking right outside the door so it was fine. I got the saltah since it's their main yemeni dish and it was out of this world. It's served piping hot in a large clay/ceramic bowl, and it's full of veggies and thick warm goodness. The lamb comes on the side and is a very generous portion, and there's bread to dip in it and a hot salsa that adds all kind of freshness. In addition to that, they bought us group salads and broth to start out. The saltah was $17 which is a steal for the amount of food you get. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.

Fantastic, unique Yemeni cuisine! More likely than not the only one of its kind in the Raleigh area. Staff was very attentive and welcoming and really took care of us. Free tea at the front makes for a cozy atmosphere. Will most definitely return.
