Hands down the best movie theater in North Carolina. Between the food and the dessert offered this place really sets a bar. I come here for all my A-list movies because I know I can get warm chocolate chip cookies. I love their quiet policy and they really stand on it. I hate when people talk during the movies . The milkshakes are amazing and the wait staff are super attentive. I’m a forever customer.

A great place to catch a movie, to eat and try new beers

Great location, friendly staff, great tasting bottomless popcorn. Offers a variety of food and drink options. The theatre set up is nice and cozy. The dining/sitting area before that theatre is really cool as one can play board games, order a movie rental, order food, or just enjoy the vibes.

Absolutely love this place, great beer and great movies.

The bathroom was clean. The popcorn was buttery and the soda was refreshing. Came to see Jurassic World Rebirth with my family. Definitely would come again.

I used to go to Wakefield, not anymore. So nice to have personnel who actually cares, in opposite of a few teens on a weekend job.
It's also great to have real food and drinks instead of cans and reheated crap
Great place, great showings, great people.
Bonus: if you have a nostalgia for VHS, DVD or video disk, feel free to free rent some!

I actually deleted my old bad review because maybe it was from a mistake, but recently went in and had a reward, for a shake. Got mozz sticks and a water and gave the reward to Todd. He still charged me for the shake, and after telling him, he after 20 minutes brought another receipt. He put the reward in the second, but I was just charged again without because I pre swiped, and what should have been $13, was almost $40 and bank statement never took it off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Will never be returning.

This is our movie place! This place is full of retro nostalgia, VCR tape rentals, and a good beer selection, but that's not why we come here...

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is an experience. We have the movie pass, so we come here no less than once per month. The seats are large, comfortable and reclining. The isles between rows are spacious, the service is prompt and courteous, the before-movie reels are original and entertaining, and the food is restaurant-quality and delicious. Seriously, the food is so good, I would eat here if they were just an actual restaurant, and I am fairly picky about where I eat out.

The only negative is that the food service top at each seat seems to always be tacky, but honestly, I think it is the varnish they used, not a lack of cleaning.

Regardless, this is the only place we go to see movies now.

Normally I give the alamo raleigh a five star. Tonight it was a different story. The movie was great naked gun. The service was excellent, but I ordered wine. 3 glasses. This costs forty five dollars. The first class was not quite half.Full and the glasses are quite small. The second glass was half full. The third glass was a little bit more full. At fourteen dollars a glass.I expect it more. We also ordered loaded fries. They were amazing. Refillable popcorn was also good. Had I known the glasses of wine were 14. Dollars each after the first one I would have not ordered another. Again just very disappointed. My husband had beer. It comes in the regular sized class, and it's not overpriced. Don't order wine if you go to the alamo in raleigh.

Only issue is how incredibly expensive the subpar food is! We (2 of us) went for an afternoon show and with lunch of chicken sandwich, fried cauliflower coffee and 1 soda $89.00!

Lost Memories

Love the theaters inside. Has a feel of memories of the past. There's a full bar, place to sit when you walk in. When you walk into the cinema area, there are reclining seats, a whole full menu to choose from for food. Tried the fried pickle spears, full of flavor and juicy. The fried cauliflower was just right amount of spicy! So tasty. And came with fries. Plus huge portions.

Bathrooms are clean, like how there are quite a few stalls more like rooms. More privacy.

My go to theater

Came mid week to watch a kids movie with our kids. Travel service and food was good (as always) and I like the fact the bathrooms are so close to the movie theatres, so the notorious kids visits to the bathroom have minimal disruption on the movie itself.

They have a great selection of movies for all ages, so would highly recommend over the normal chain options.

We stumbled across this while looking for a movie to see in a theater, which we hadn't done in years. Very pleasant, food decent, but much more expensive than it should be

Great movie experience! The staff were all very helpful and served all of our drinks and food in a timely manner. We will definitely go back!
