The veal chop was exquisite — tender, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. And the steak? Impeccable. Juicy, beautifully seasoned, and presented with elegance.

We waited an hour for the most mediocre pizza I have ever tasted, especially for the price. The service wasn't too good. They rarely ever see you and they give you water, so you have to personally ask for a soda. They don't have a ceiling, so you look at insulation the entire time. The to-go boxes were fancy, which was about the only good thing I have to say.

Visited 2/20/26. Worst service and food experience I’ve ever had! Sat at two dirty tables, the drinking glasses were dirty. The silverware was dirty, the water that was poured looked like it had backwash in it. The pizza was like warm. There was also someone’s booger on the salt shaker 🤢 The dust on the ceiling was 2 inches thick and on the windowsills

The pizza is ok, but you’ve almost certainly had better (and more memorable) in this town. There’s nothing original or signature about it, which would be fine if the food is good enough, but unfortunately it’s just… “ok”. The main issue I have is with the owner’s bravado and how he gallivants around trying to be the center of attention. I overheard him talking negatively about another Italian place in town, and for me that’s a deal breaker. Spend more time in the kitchen working on your craft and you won’t need to schmooze and self-promote to overcompensate?

I recently found Anthony’s La Piazza from a reel that came across my Facebook feed 4 days ago. I worked in hospitality for 15 years. It is a way of life and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The reel was a video from the owner standing up for his employee after an experience with bad guest. Yes! A bad guest! It happens all the time, and I loved seeing the owner standing up for his employees! Validating their knowledge of the menu and work ethic!
I own a pressure washing company here in Raleigh. We are a small operation. I always treat my employees with respect. They help me provide for my family! After I saw Anthony standing up for his employees, I had to go support his business and staff!
The young man working the door was prompt when we walked in. Sat us in the dining room. Our server Tina was at our table in less than a minute grabbing our drink order. When she came back with drinks we ordered. She brought us out some bread to snack on. Our food hit the table in less than 20 mins and was delicious!
Thanks Tina for a great dinner! Thanks kitchen for delicious meal! And thanks Anthony for being a great example of how a business owner and leader should be 🤝

Visited the restaurant for Valentine's. The dishes that we ordered were amazing ( Spaghetti Carbonara and Spaghetti Bolognese). The customer alone with the atmosphere was outstanding. Will definitely come back.

Waiter would only take a couple drink orders at a time for a table of 5. Burrata came with separate mozzarella slices looked like they came from block of cheese purchased from your local grocery. Food took almost an hour to arrive Luke warm and VERY salty.
Reserved a table for 3pm on Valentines Day. Once we arrived we were greeted promptly and escorted to our table. Our server Charlie was the best. He recognized my wife and I from visiting the 42 Location. The food was amazing!!! Authentic Italian is hard to find, but if you come to Anthony's LaPiazza you'll never find anything else. I enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant and the energy that Anthony puts into his brand. If you haven't tried Anthony's LaPiazza, my suggestion is to do it ASAP YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
