Loved it! It was beautiful & exactly what I wanted. The details were as distinct & on point. The book pages looked real & were edible. In fact everything is edible!!! The taste was superb & the cake was moist!We met once for a tasting ~3 months prior & communicated via email. I received my cake one day prior to my event. She was timely with delivery. The cake was secure. She provided instructions for storage & serving. This cake was close second to talk of the party... the honoree comes firstGreat experience. Thanks Iriene

Only if you have no other choice!Quick versionit's the buyer's responsibility to make sure everything is correct and the seller (her) can make whatever mistakes she wants as long as the invoice was signed. Only 1 cake flavor discussed, yet wrong cake flavor was given.Back storyThe cake was mediocre at best and the decorating was mostly fondant which most cake places can do so nothing special. The worst part is that the customer service and logistics of this "business." She will respond to this review with the only defense she has being it was on the invoice. Which I had already acknowledged that I agree I should've double checked the invoice but that was the last line of defense in my opinion. Please read this through. All of my communication with her was via text and 90% of that communication was about the decoration design, another 8% was about the filling and the other 2% was me telling her what flavor cake and her acknowledging it and confirming that she knew I wanted lemon cake but the original filling was not one she offered (as seen in the pictures). No other flavor cake was discussed, just lemon and then it was never discussed again. Yet, somehow she put chocolate cake on the invoice. When I first contacted her she sent a picture of the invoice and I responded with I know I should've checked the details but the price was correct and so were my personal details so I didn't bother to check the invoice in which she generated and sent to me as soon as we were done texting and I paid it. She didn't even seem like she felt bad but instead just continued to explain to me that it was on the invoice, the purpose of an invoice, and even googled why buyers should check invoice and sent a screenshot. However, she also admitted she misunderstood and she used the excuse that she has quotes coming in everyday and she will not 100% remember the conversation. First of all, it was text so any confusion she had easy access to our conversation. Secondly, if it was a voice conversation how would you have confirmed? Yet when I confronted her about the cake being wrong, which was once we cut into it for my daughters 4th birthday and realized almost no one was going to eat the cake, she never once seemed like she felt bad or wanted to remedy it in anyway. After the 4th response in a row from her was about checking the invoice, and lack of any empathy, I no longer felt the need to try and prove my point to her. The point is, yes I faulted by not double checking the invoice, however, she is the business owner and she is putting all of the onus on the buyer. She didn't double check the conversation with the invoice nor did she reach out to me or attempt in anyway to confirm her invoice was right, and yet it's still all my fault in her eyes. This is the same lady who also told me, told me! To text her 1 week before my pickup date to remind HER, and told me to text her 30min before the pickup time so she can ensure she's at the shop (office where she brings the cake to give you) despite you texting her 1 week ago confirming pickup date and time. If you truly feel that that's how a business should be run and that she's right and I'm wrong then please share why. I'm not saying I couldn't have avoided it by checking the invoice but I am saying you trust the business is going to get your order right especially when it's this expensive of a cake. The fact that she didn't offer to try and remedy it in anyway, whether it be discount on this or future order, a new cake, anything, speaks a lot about her as a person and the kind of business she runs.

Highly disappointed since my wife bought our cake and was literally bought from Walmart in the frozen cake isle and they put fondant on it. Don't get me wrong the designs from the fondant was amazing and they can definitely decorate but we paid around $300 and I would've expected a custom made (baked) cake not just one bought from the Walmart, it was the Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Fudge Layered Cake they bought then put icing and fondant over it. Now this was for my sons birthday but still I hope you don't do this for wedding cakes. Also if your going to be cheap on your cakes then give the customers a cheaper price. This is why you deserve a 1 star review. I included the photo of the Mickey mouse cake that was made for us 1 year ago and a photo of the Pepperidge farms cake you all used to fill the cake with. The cake was terribly dry and flavorless. Disappointing for the price. The design was awesome but you guys as bakers should know taste is just as important and if you can't make the cake taste good what's the point of it looking good? We won't be going back to you all this year and honestly my wife doesn't want to ask for money back but this has been bothering me for a while now and I cannot let this go. Other customers must know what they may get even for this expensive price.

I sent photos over email to this cake designer. She did a great job of cake design. I specifically asked for fondant and I got it. Vanilla cake. The filling icing was a whip and it was so light. This cake is good to eat not too sweet. Her flower design and creation was some of the best I have seen. The tiki mask was great and my business logo was perfect. The cake construction was strong and stable for the 3 tiered cake. ALL of my customers loved it even the ones Who don't care for fondant.
