Found The Local looking for food before the cane's game. Travis took care of us. The food, drinks and atmosphere are great before a game. Try the espresso martini! Will definitely be back.

Service was great.
However food was sub par. Chicken sandwich was smaller than bun they put it on. Salmon seemed frozen. Rice was cold and hard.
Not what it was 4 yrs ago. Not even close.
The only 2 beers I wanted were unavailable
Next time I'm in town ill pick a different place

Stopped in after a cheer comp for the first time for lunch. The food was excellent!! The fish tacos, brisket & bbq, and our drinks (the simple spicy) were so so good! The service with Megan as our server, was perfect! She knew the menu, knew the food & drinks, made excellent recommendations. We will 10/10 be back soon! So glad we stopped in ❤️

Great spot and food. We went here day after Christmas, wasn't sure if they were open...they were and we were pleasantly surprised they were dead...we got fast food, service and enjoyed our burnt end nachos ($19), 12 wings ($18) and Mac and cheese ($8) As always lately was a little pricey but presentation was great and everything was delicious!! 😋 Great hangout spot for games, TV's are everywhere and loved all the NC State and Hurricanes art.

Slow service, out of fish and chips, ordered a salad with Brussel Sprouts - asked server if the salad was substantial or if I should add grilled shrimp? The server said it was substantial. The salad came without Brussel Sprouts which would have been the only filling food in the salad. The server disappeared for a long time and when she finally checked in with me, I asked about the missing Brussel Sprouts and was told they were out of them. When we paid the check and I expressed my dissatisfaction, the manager took 85 cents off of $17.00 for the salad. Our friend ordered a burger and asked for ketchup . The server totally forgot and only brought it after being asked again 10 minutes later. I will not go back!

Always receive fantastic service, tons of screens to keep up with whatever events are going on and awesome food with a rotating specials menu. They’ve changed the fries since my last visit in October and these new ones are miles better than the thin shoestring style they had on my last visit. I will continue to support this business and I’m hopeful these new fries are a permanent menu addition because they are awesome!

First time there and I'm giving it 4.5 stars overall. Excellent sports bar/restaurant. Wall of TVs easily viewable. Spacious seating. Very friendly and efficient service. Menu has great variety and reasonable prices. In general, the food is great.
Most of the dishes we ordered were great. The fish tacos I ordered were a good size portion of 3 tacos, the ingredients were very fresh, the combination of ingredients was unique and excellent on the palate. I took off a half star for two reasons: I took one bite out of the first taco and it fell apart in my hands because the tortilla shell was about the thickness of a crepe and was soggy; so I wound up eating the rest with a knife and fork. If that was the only issue, I could forgive that because the tortillas were still very fresh and flavorful. Each taco had a good size piece of blackened tuna. Unfortunately 1 of the 3 pieces of tuna had connective tissue running through almost the entire piece; which made it very chewy, lacked flavor, and stuck between my teeth. This 1 piece should never have left the kitchen.
