Weird place to eat. There’s pretty much no customer service. I’m in the area for a business trip and have never been here. There was little to no instruction on how to eat here but if you did it wrong you get yelled at by the hostess. Wouldn’t recommend. Food was pretty expensive as a single person. In my area this type of place is buffet style but this was priced by weight and most of it was the fried rice I didn’t even select the amount of.

This is my very favourite restaurant, great food at a reasonable price. I come as often as I can and I'm never disappointed

Service was terrible, waited almost 15 min for ice water and still had to ask for utensils. Food very limited, no selection on spices, sauces, etc. I don't think they even had the a/c on. Crazy fire is much better, I don't really see how this is Mongolian grill.

I absolutely love Bali Hai! I go all the time after work and even brought my family after my graduation- it’s my favorite restaurant. I love that you can customize the sauce and ingredients in your dish. It is very quiet and clean.

Food was good but the whole place was very unorganized, Crazy Fire is far better. This place only had one person working, everything was rung up as a take out order, limited selection of food, and no table service. This place was not bad but nowhere near great.

Called business at 1:55 on a Saturday, lady answering the phone informed me that they closed at 2:00 but to come on they would wait.
My wife & I arrived at 2:10 made our bowls & took to the wok. That's when we noticed that the cook was the ACTUAL OWNER & his wife was running the front.
Great customer service. Also the food was great as usual

I used to go to this location very often even before covid. Even during the covid era, I still supported their business and was fine with their change of charging system (not by the number of bowls but by the weight of food). Then post covid, it got worse. My food container was half filled with fried rice, which I asked to put less because they have been giving me ever since they started charging by weight. My food was very overcooked, almost felt mushy. I can't believe I paid for such quality. That's when I decided not to go back again. I tried other locations (cary and the one in strickland rd) and they have been awesome. I will stick around the other locations from now.

We have gone to Bali Hi for years, going back to the old location on Wake Forest road. The food is still as good as ever, but the pricing is way to high. I miss the day of paying by the bowl.
