Best hotdogs in Raleigh hands down! My wife wanted to do a hotdog tasting at various highly rated hotdog joints around town. We had some great dogs over the course of the day but none were as good as the ones we had at Uptown Dog. My wife’s first words upon her first bite of their Picnic dog (topped with potato salad) were “OMG, 10 out of 10”. Dwayne was really nice and very welcoming. When we came in, he went over the menu, and made great recommendations. Everything we ate was delicious(uptown dog, brightleaf dog with chili and Nathan's dog with chili and onions). I like that he offers beef and turkey hotdogs for those of us that don't eat pork. He's chili is homemade along with the potatoe salad. I can't say enough how good the food was. If you go by try the strawberry lemonade it's the best.
Amazing place and great guy running it! Will definitely be back to dine in and get the full experience. Highly recommended stopping by. Prices are great and the food is delicious and unlike other hotdog places.
