This was our first visit and we'll definitely go back.
Ashley is absolutely amazing! She made us feel like we were the only ones in the crowded restaurant. She talked us through the menu, shared personal favorites, and made sure we enjoyed every dish. All this without making us feel rushed in any way!
Be prepared to sit cozily with other patrons since the tables are pretty close, but it was totally fine with us.
The Olive Oil cake and chocolate cake are a MUST!
The patatas bravas are exactly the way we remembered when we were in Spain.
The chicken thigh is super tender and well-seasoned.
Bacon-wrapped dates - yummy!
Red Sangria- YES!
We loved the full experience!!

Very tasty food - definitely for a first visit try out the many small plates or if you're up for a large meal the paella options are all good. They have a great wine selection and great choices by the glass or by the bottle.
Strongly recommend a reservation but you can sometimes find bar seating for walk in. The staff is extremely friendly knowledgeable and takes the time to engage with you and provide good recommendations and can address food allergies
Would recommend this as a great special night or date night. I also have no problem dropping in for an upscale meal on a random casual night
Restaurant comments: watch dish proper temperatures. Quick service but lukewarm in a couple cases. For the quality of food attention to that detail would elevate greatly. And sadly the upper end port was so cold I had to warm it for 10 min with my hands to be able to enjoy.

Really nice vibe at Barcelona! Beautiful restaurant. Both managers stopped at the table for a check-in, had two waiters helping us. For service I would give ten stars. And as good as the atmosphere and the service…. The food was exceptional. Man am I glad I moved into this neighborhood. I’ve found my spot!

Best place for a date night, brunch (the pancakes are to die for), or a girls night out in Raleigh. Service is always top notch. Food is incredible. Highly recommend!

My girls and I had dinner here the other day and Mark absolutely made our time there so special and extraordinary. We felt like queens as he sent us new dishes to try. He is the reason we keep coming back for more great experiences at Barcelona Wine Bar along with the flavorful dishes

Amazing restaurant, food was as expected and that means delicious, but what really made it unforgettable was customer service. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Jed the general manager with a super friendly attitude, then we had Taylor that made us feel comfortable and right at home which helped us choose a couple of tapas that obviously were amazing, last but not least Conor our server was very knowledgeable , thank you for a wonderful evening and you definitely have gain new customers! I got them 5 stars because it won’t allow me give them 100 ! 💯👍🏼

Barcelona is one of my favorite places to take out of town guests. The food is wonderful and it's fun to try lots of different Spanish tapas among us. The atmosphere is lovely and lively. The only challenge is it can get loud if you have someone in your group that is hard of hearing.

The food was interesting, but pretty flat in flavor. Several items used a nearly identical sauce, but called it something completely different.
Service was great, zero complaints.
The atmosphere was deafening. This is NOT a place to go if you're interested in actually talking to your dinner mates.

Leaving a review has been way overdue since my boyfriend and I have pretty much become regulars at this point haha… but I knew I had to leave a review after Taylor the manager was so friendly, generous, and more than understanding to us after a lil mixup with the paella for our to-go order. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and was just incredibly kind and down to earth. We have enjoyed the food and service (especially with Karina and Cameron bartending!) and we’ve made great memories here.

Design-centric atmosphere with energetic background music (loud but you can still have a conversation), close tables, and good service. A few of our dishes on this trip were a little overcooked and the bone marrow was way oversalted for my taste, but everything else was delicious. Nice wine list, quick bartenders, and plenty of shareable dishes. Perfect place for a group outing, a business lunch, or date night. Outside seating is available, depending on the weather. Prices are decent for the servicing sizes.
