Barcelona Wine Bar is a great spot with a lively atmosphere and consistently good food. The cocktails are excellent and the seafood paella is my personal favorite. They do get very busy, so making a reservation is a good idea. A great place to enjoy a meal and drinks with friends.

Holy Cow! My first experience here was excellent! I was in town for a conference and this place came highly recommended by the folks at Raleigh Denim. Im so glad I listened. I was alone, and upon arrival they looked slammed. The manager took it upon herself to not only seat me, but take my order to help out her servers. Andrew, my server, did come and check on me several times and he too had the best attitude. The food was so damn good! And probably the best meal I had the entire week. Im not sure if I will ever be back in Raleigh, but if I do come up, this is a must stop!

I love this restaurant, great atmosphere and food. Just to note that it gets very crowded and very very loud. Sometimes so loud that it is difficult to have a conversation at your table which can be frustrating. Sometimes the music is overwhelmingly loud making it almost impossible to talk when I have been there in the past. They may have tamped that down a bit. Sitting outside, which we did last night, made it easier to chat. When crowded the service can be a bit slow so be patient. The wait staff is very nice and accommodating. The food is always delicious!

I have been coming to Barcelona wine bar for 7+ years, however I was always with a party less than 4 and we always sat at the bar or at the booths. I was at Barcelona wine bar on Friday February 13 with a party of 5 ladies celebrating Valentine’s Day amongst friends. The table was indoor and it was so low, yet the stools were so high and extremely uncomfortable that we we had to ask to change tables. We are average height ladies (5 ‘4) therefore I cannot even imagine how uncomfortable these tables must be for someone who is 5’5 and taller. The table we were transferred to was outside. These tables are so old and outdated and had pieces of wood sticking out of them. I had to sit on my jacket to make sure the chairs would not damage my dress. The food was delicious, as always , however I am providing this constructive feedback because I think it’s time to update your outdoor tables and remove the low tables with the high stools.! Definitely not comfortable for a lady to sit on these . Thank you and see you soon

Barcelona Wine Bar was the very first restaurant we ate at when we moved to Raleigh in October 2024. That first experience was amazing - the food was delicious, the cocktails were tasty, the wine selection amazed us, and the servers were friendly and attentive. We have been back MANY times since then, and have never had a disappointing experience. When we have friends come into town, this is the place we bring them, because we love it and know that we can be sure our friends will have a great experience, too. The ONLY negative I can say about Barcelona is the noise level. If you can sit outside, that's the best option. Inside, the noise level is just below unbearable - you can kind of hold a conversation. If you're in the bar area, its the volume of the music that impedes conversation. If you're in the side dining room, the music isn't as loud, but the conversational noise reflects off all the windows/hard surfaces, making it just as hard to hold a conversation as in the bar area.

I’m hi Spanish and it’s like diving back to Spain. Today is Valentine’s Day and I have 3 friends coming for the first time! Im excited for them to experience the best of Raleigh!!!
