Amazing service and very tasty food. moreover the place is kept in pristine condition, no sticky chairs or table. Definitely worth trying.

We went for breakfast, and it was decent enough. Our server was very good. The prices, though, were incredibly expensive. For a family of 4, with tax and tip we spent $86. On breakfast! I thought I'd treat the kids, but next time I'll just make my own bacon and eggs at home.

Food was great, expensive for breakfast foods but that's probably just life now. Atmosphere was great, not many mom and pop places left around that own what they are.

Excellent Cafe, very charming! Wonderful staff and food was delicious. It also seems to be pretty popular and I totally understand why. Hidden jewel ✨️

Holy moly that was expensive!! $50 for two people! Very small portions. No maple syrup, no fresh cream. Coffee was sad. Biscuit was cold. Egg was inedible because of being over cooked. Ordered “hash brown” got frozen home fry style potatoes. So very disappointed. Only plus is they didn’t have a wait on Saturday morning but now I know why.

I was served by a well mannered teenager. He was very kind and was always ready to get us anything we needed. Great service and atmosphere. Pancakes, hash browns, and eggs were all fantastic. The bacon was a little crispy for my liking but that is a personal preference. I could totally see someone really loving the bacon. Great place will be coming back.

Definitely felt unwelcome here, came with my family. Waited 10 minutes before even being addressed and then immediately spoke to my white partner, before acknowledging the rest of my family. My father who is a huge fan of memorabilia was interested in walls and was understandably recording the interesting decorations. The manager, an ununiformed older woman immediately came to our table and said to me, "It's illegal in North Carolina to record people's faces." First of all my father is fluent in English and she could of asked him directly, and she could have simply asked us to not take pictures, and we would have been happy to oblige, instead immediately threatening us with legal action.I don't know what's going on with this place, but from the other reviews there is a clear theme that if youre asian or hispanic you're not welcome here. Which is truly sad because I love the message and support for emergency workers that Barry's Cafe is supposed to represent. That said, no one needs a 14 dollar dry breakfast burrito.

The atmosphere was great especially if you are into first responder memorabilia. Service was great. Very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and at a decent price. When back in the area we will eat there again.

This place is FANTASTIC. I love the fact that there are gluten free offerings that are actually delicious. Their gluten free pancakes taste as good (if not better) than regular wheat pancakes. I also love the fact that they have crispy bacon and not floppy, half cooked nonsense. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

A few of us (5) visited Friday afternoon to grab something to eat. The food, service and hospitality was great. We're visiting from NYC, and it was a pleasure to get such a warm welcome. If I could post ten (10) stars I would. Thank you ?

Back in the day this was a pretty good go to for breakfast. Not so much anymore. Seems like breakfast choices have been scaled back and menu items have been taken away. Very limited breakfast choices. Quality of food is not what it should be.
