Disappointing experience at your North Hills location. While we were seated outside fairly quickly after only a 10-minute wait, we were left waiting over 20 minutes at our table without being greeted or approached by a server.We eventually spoke with the working manager on duty, who apologized and told us that Laura would take care of us and that the restaurant would be covering the cost of our food due to the extended wait and oversight. We want to emphasize that we did not ask for this only that someone help us. However, even after that, the service remained poor. Laura never truly took care of us, and our entire visit continued to reflect a lack of attention and hospitality.We were hoping for a great evening out, but the service did not match the standard we expect from your restaurant, nor the quality of the food. It disappointing to feel overlooked as a guest and then have promises made that weren't followed through.We hope you take this feedback seriously and address these concerns so that future guests receive the experience bartaco is known for.Training would be a great start. PS- Your outside area, although we appreciate dog friendly. It's extremely dirty!

Literally the rudest customer service thank you for slamming the food down in my face or just holding it out like a frisbee for me to grab also instead of making customers wait 40 minutes and not communicating when something is sold out also clean behind the restraint you can see it outside and it’s vile

Yesterday, July 28, 2025. I stopped by to eat lunch at bartaco. There is a BIG SIGN in the front that says, *cashless restaurant* I sat at the bar, ordered my food, and ate my food. Absolutely no problems. The food was really really good. So big ups to the kitchen during lunch. The problem I had started at the checkout process. I asked the bartender for my tab & he went to print it out; while printing it out I grabbed purse. He watched me the entire time, as I grabbed dollars out my bag. He comes back over very aggressively telling me they don’t take cash. I’m confused because I opened a tab, he has to know I’m gonna pay with the tab opened ? Or maybe no? I tell him I’m not trying to pay in cash I just wanted to tip in cash. He goes on to say to the other bartender, “these people be mad that they can’t pay in cash”. I have absolutely no idea what he was talking about. I can see he was irritated so I really just wanted to leave. My bill was $29, I tipped $10. He grabbed the money taking $5 and giving the other $5 to the other bartender. He placed the other $5 in the bartenders shirt pocket saying, “don’t spend it all in one place”. Insisting that the $10 was too small of a tip. You NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME AGAIN.

The restaurant is located in the upmarket part of the city. Thus, keen though it has many tables and is spacious, it is rather busy with long wait times. The food was good. However, the service and order management was absolutely terrible. The waiters took over 20 minutes to take our order, and then we had to call them. To make matters worse, the food arrived 45 minutes late after four reminders. We finally had to walk up to their open kitchen to check for our order. Even on a weekend, this would have been acceptable, but on a school night with kids, it took us 2 to 2.5 hours to finish our dinner. To top it all, when the food arrived it was not complete. Tacos we ordered were missing and we had to remind the servers again to send the same.

Charlott was a wonderful server! The food and drinks were delicious. The drinks were, however a little over priced. My group and I got IDed almost four times which was a little inconvenient. The online ordering system was very confusing for us, as it wouldn’t let us pay online even though that was implied. If I were to offer some advice I would say to only order through your server and not bother with the QR code.

I eat here a fair amount. They do not seem to have enough staff and there are always closed tables on busy weekend nights. We used their ordering system to order. Everyone's food came out but mine. The server was a bit dismissive and stated that the item would come out when it was ready. So everyone else finished their food and I still didn't have mine. The server went over to the kitchen and it was clear that the item was missed and that he was standing there waiting for it to be prepared. The manager came over and said she was going to comp the dish since everyone else got to sit there and watch me eat well after they had all finished. She also said she was going to send over some churros for the table so that everyone else would have something to eat while I was eating. They never arrived. I like this place. But this was not their best night.

The only thing that can make the night better, is to not have the staff faning themselves while working. I love this place and It's always a good experience. Food, service and atmosphere. But to see customers AND the staff fan themselves just makes it sad. I don't know what the deal is with AC but something has to be done. Because I don't want anyone sweating over my food or drink.
