What a hall of whimsy! It should be called Belk Whimsy Hall hahahaha. While the food is sub par (although I do recommend the Rotten Grape dish), the atmosphere is one of a kind! It's like Hairy Potter but instead of floating candles it's a bunch of flies whispering little secrets into your ears. I'm tickled to have experienced Belk Dining Hall for myself. The food isn't great, but it is normally fine enough. All you can eat for $10(or $7 on a cam card). The staff are some of the most wonderful and caring people in the world. They always great you with a smile and ask how you are and genuinely care. They make it worth every visit.
I was at Belk Dining Hall for Meredith's Wings 60th anniversary for a tea luncheon. The food was great. I was very impressed with the vegan and gluten free items on the table. Great Dining Hall for everyone.
