Well...all I can say is if you need Gluten Free Italian food....this is the place to go. Not all gf pasta is cooked correctly. I also had a side of sausage which was truly Italian sausage. The gravy (sauce) was exactly how I love it...simple chunky marinara sauce.and I was so elated when I discovered I got my own GF menu...lots of choices...and they gave me gf focaccia bread..I never get gf bread ...best of all they offered gf Tiramisu. My husband who is not gf had spaghetti and meatballs and raved about his dish as well....oh and we had house salads...chilled fresh and delicious lemon dressing..the service was spot on! Pleasant indoor and outdoor atmosphere.My new favorite restaurant.

I went to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend, and from the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. The service was excellent. They congratulated us on the occasion and made it something unique. The food and recommendations we received were incredible. We would definitely go again

Eggplant Rollatini was the best Italian meal my wife says she has ever eaten! She raved about this from the first bite to the last and we've eaten Italian food all over the country and in Rome, Milan, Venice, Sienna and Florence. I was not that hungry and had a small pepperoni pizza which was excellent. We would visit Bella Monica whenever we are near Raleigh again.

Food was good but the wait staff are miserable, rude, unhappy people. It's took nearly 25 minutes before they took our order. We reserved a table for 5, an extra person arrived and they had a meltdown about getting an extra chair! I've tried 3 times to eat there and the staff has been this way every time. Will not be going back.

My husband loves the chicken Parmesan and swears that it is the best he's ever eaten. He never deviates from ordering it. I like their salmon. Today it was on a bed of spinach with artichoke and roasted cherry tomatoes. Very good!

I love this restaurant and have always had a great, overall experience. This experience wasn't' as good. The server wasn't very friendly and charged us for a different bottle of wine that was more expensive. We inquired but he said we had had a different one. In addition, the food seemed a bit off. The chicken parm was drenched in sauce that tasted like a can of tomatoes with no Italian seasoning. I think if the experience with the server had been better, I probably wouldn't have submitted a review. Perhaps it was just an off evening. All of the other staff was wonderful, as usual.

I first dined here in college when I was looking for some eggplant parmesan - since that day 20 years later it’s still my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Btw their eggplant parmesan uses in house ROASTED eggplant not fried and I cannot explain how delicious it is. I’ve likely tried everything on the menu by this point and not once have I been disappointed.
