I just wanted to thank all of the loyal customers I’ve had the pleasure to serve over the almost 10 years I’ve been here. I’m very sad I didn’t get to say goodbye to most of my regulars (you know who you are) but I’m hoping this message will reach you.

To all of the coworkers I’ve worked with and the OG crew I started with, them years were amazing times. I’ve gained many great lifelong friends because of this place.

You all have made these almost 10 years worth it and I loved the relationships and conversations I’ve had in this place. Even though this store location is unfortunately closing permanently… the memories will live with me forever. This store has history and I even have many memories coming here as a kid. Lots of sentimental meaning.

But, regardless Thank you for everything!! And I wish all of you well and hopefully we will meet again one day. This is not a goodbye but a see you later! ✌? ❤️?

Tevin was friendly and helpful, since it was my kids’ first time at Ben and Jerry’s. I am gluten free, and Tevin immediately offered me the allergen sheet and asked if I needed fresh utensils. He gets it! Ice cream was delicious as always, and the shop was clean and cool on a hot summer day.

Never have had a bad experience here, I consider this shop my local ice cream place! Amber is great, we usually come on Sundays and are served by the same gentleman, he is so kind and patient. Thanks for brightening our days, as sometimes we come to lift out spirits!

It was the most unwelcoming experience. We entered an hour before closing and no one was at the front. The employee look unhappy and I was uncomfortable the entire time ordering. We enjoyed our ice cream outside.

Ben and Jerry’s is one of several quality ice cream stores in the triangle area, not significantly better or worse than the others because all serve a high quality product. At most other places, a small cone goes for between $5 and $6. Not so at Ben and Jerry’s. The other night i got a small cone.at the store on Hillsborough St. in Raleigh. The cost was $7.50, which i thought was on the high end of reasonable. Then i found out that the come would be $2-3 EXTRA, bringing the total to $10 for a small ice cream cone, so I decided against the cone because this seemed like highway robbery compared to other places. The server was brusque to say the least,, especially after i turned down the extra $2 for the cone.

Since Ben and Jerry sold the business, it hasn’t been the same. i used to frequent the Durham store, but it shut down several years ago. Coffee coffee buzz buzz is still one of my favorite flavors, but at that price it doesn’t taste quite as good. Ironically, you can get a hand-packed pint for $9.50, less than the cost of a small cone. If i return, that’s what i’ll do next time.
