The food is good but the line is unbearably long

Very good! It was a very long line but they moved through pretty quick. Overall it was great, but the price is pretty steep. We got 2 bagels, one ham egg and cheese and one egg and cheese. Combined it was 25 dollars. Seems kind of crazy, especially since they aren’t particularly large. I would go back because the atmosphere is pretty cool and the food was good!

Best bagels in the triangle. We come here about twice a week normally and this morning our bagels were somehow even better than they usually are and we can’t stop talking about it.

Gross bagels - soggy, sloppy, flimsy

I wholeheartedly agree with the other negative reviews. We went here mostly for the atmosphere, but I was blown away by how bad the bagels were. My family ordered the special (#11 with ham, egg, etc), the marshmallow bagel, and a plain bagel with cream cheese. I wish I had taken pictures of the slop our bagels turned into when we took off the paper wrapping.

My kids love bagels and we were all surprised by how flimsy the bagels were, making them completely soggy when you add cream cheese or whatever sauce they had on the #11. We ended up scraping off the morsels of real food and throwing the bagels away. Can’t believe this place passes as a bagel place. It’s the worst bagel I’ve ever had - more like a mushy bagel.

To top it off, the coffee tastes like they added acid. We threw that away too. What a bust. Feel like the only way this place does well is because it’s in a cool spot. We all left hungry.

Excellent bagel gem inside Transfer Co. Food Hall. Found out it doubles as a pizza shop after 5pm, pure genius. Missed the pies this time but a sure return trip just based on the level bagel goodness from here.

I’m not too sure how well Benchwarmers would fair if there was a little more bagel competition in the area. The bagels are decent and their bagel creations are unique… but $30 for two bagel sandwiches that didn’t absolutely blow my mind… meh. Also the crowds are unreal… be prepared for want 20+ minutes on weekends.

I go to Benchwarmers all the time and they are consistent. They have the best bagels and coffee in the area. They rarely make a mistake on an order & the times they have, they make it right! Super nice people that love what they do! They stay busy so get there early! Fast service & quality food & coffee! I love them!
