Always one of the quaint and quirky locations in DTR. The 5 cheese grilled cheese and the chicken noodle soup is always a favorite for me. BLT will hit the spot also. Miss the old location but they are really working on bringing some of the old vibes with them and also embracing the new spot.

While vacationing in North Carolina, I discovered Berkeley Cafe—a true gem ?. On a quest for the perfect Reuben, I tried theirs and it was the best I've ever had, served with crispy potato chips ??. The chef is like a sandwich angel from heaven ?.

Their sweet tea was equally impressive, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sugar ?.

Overall, my experience at Berkeley Cafe was fantastic. I highly recommend it. 10/10! ?

This restaurant may be small but the taste and look of the food is amazing. The portions that you get is amazing. All I needed at the end of my meal was a nap. When visiting this area again I will be back. The owner is absolutely sweet.

This place sucks. Staff was rude and using profanity in customer's earshot. Server smelled distinctly of weed smoke, and the food was sub par. Plenty of better places to spend your money.

Cozy, welcoming, unpretentious, vibrant space featuring wallet-friendly drink prices. Limited but adequate food menu (burgers, chicken, etc). Located across street from Red Hat Amphitheater make this an ideal before or after event stop. Is part of the DTR Social District.
