If you're a woman out in Raleigh, steer clear of Black Fire Brewing. I was scoffed at and disregarded twice. Gotta love when you've been waiting in line and the guy behind the bar looks over you to ask what the guy behind you needs. I had to walk away and have my boyfriend deal with them. That was the only way we got service.

Alright, I am very disappointed. I know I am bit strict but the flavors are almost the same. I am a sour ale person but the hoppy flavor took over their sour option made me wondered what I just ordered. Looks like a lot of ppl can hangout here but beware of the misquote

This is a fun brewery with a hole in the wall feel and location but the beer is really great and their outdoor seating is larger than you'd imagine. I hope they stick around with all the development that's happening in the area. Super friendly staff and a good time all around

Me and my buddy Jim were looking for some new breweries to check out and found Black Fire in Raleigh. It's a small start-up, but is cozy and the beer was good. The most interesting thing to me was that each selection has a gluten-free option. There is not a lot of seating inside, but they had a good number of outdoor tables with umbrellas. Also, as a side note, Altered State Brewery is directly next door so there are many options in one location.

I am not a fan of the beer here. I did find the people working here to be really nice.

I was lucky enough to find Black Fire Brewing on my most recent search for "Deglutenized Beer at Breweries Near Me." They actually offer all of their beers as a deglutenized (or gluten reduced, if you prefer) option in cans.According to the owner I spoke with, Phil, they can every Friday. So it's best to come early to get the deglutenized options, since they can less of them and go pretty fast. Since I showed up on Sunday (because it was the only time I had available this weekend), they were down to only the Deglutenized "Mama Said Knock You Stout."I'm usually not a huge fan of stout beers when it's hot outside, but since that was my only option, I was willing to give it a try. I like this beer a little better than the Glutenberg Stout so far because it's less sweet on the back end and I like the addition of the cinnamon.Overall, a good beer to try to start with and I can't wait to try the others. My spouse had the Hot For Teacher IPA and said it was a really good beer. They are a bit pricey, but pretty on parc with the other microbreweries we've been to.Whether you need a deglutenized beer or not, this place seems to have a lot to offer. Plus, it's centrally located, a bit off the beaten path (so it's quieter) and has a great little outdoor seating area. We will definitely be back!

Black Fire was a small space indoors, however this was more than needed for their excellent beers. With the added space outside this is a wonderful stop on the summer brewery tour. The staff was excellent as well, 5 stars all around.

Staff is awesome, changed the tv to the cages game for me. It was great to talk beer and hockey with the guys.

It's a tiny brewery and taproom well off the beaten path. Good beer at a good price. The bartenders are nice and laid back.. Picnic tables with umbrellas outside for seating. Good atmosphere. Food trucks are there, if you have good timing.

Great selection of beers. Love the intimate vibe of the space! It gives you a chance to speak with the Black Fire team and learn about their well curated selection. Outdoor space is PRIMO and awesome. Will def be back soon!
