The good food and the service. felt comfortable and ate well with my family 😊 🤗
KOREAN fried chicken is sooooooo GOOD !!!! I had no idea what I was missing ! Delicious ! You have to try it, you won't be disappointed! We got spicy, but you can get as much or as little spice as you want. Every town needs a place with Korean fried chicken. I will definitely come here again !

My server was Nabi and she was the sweetest. It was my first time dining in and I ordered the Japchae + Korean donuts. Everything was delicious! 10/10 would recommend ?

I have been a fan of Bonchon chicken before they came to Raleigh. Compared to other fast food fried chicken, the pricing is quite competitive and Bonchon is so much better.
There are variety of dishes as well. I usually got the medium combo, half & half, and it feeds 4 people. I also like the squid balls as well.

Service was good. The wings and drumsticks are great. The batter is crispy and flavors of the sauce are good. The rest of the items on the menu that are staples of any Korean restaurant are basic and bland here.
Food is good quality, quantity and flavor but very pricey. Wings were just OK, not as good as advertised. Service was slow to non- existent. Had to flag down waitress multiple times for refills and had to ask for basic things like utensils and napkins. Too expensive to have bad service.

My first visit to Bonchon was excellent. It was my first time having Korean fried chicken, and it certainly wil not be my last. I am most definitely a fan. I had the soy garlic wings. They were excellent. What I enjoyed about them was the flavor, the size, and the crunch. The flavor was great, not too salty, and not too garlicky. I was presently surprised by the size of the wings. The last couple of restaurants that I've been to have had very small wings. These were large, meaty wings that were very filling. I was at Bonchon for lunch and had the wings lunch special, 8 wings, and a side for $10.95. It is certainly a great deal considering the size and flavor. Finally, I really enjoyed the crunch you get when biting into the wings. There are other restaurants where you can order wings "fried hard" and still not get a good crispy crunch, which is one of the things that I like about wings. I definitely recommend Bonchon to all who appreciate a great wing plate.

Visited Bonchon Raleigh for the first time about a week ago with some friends and was very impressed. We were a party of 7, so because everyone ordered something different I was able to try a variety of items. We ended up ordering the small wings (bbq & soy garlic), Korean tacos, bulgogi, fries, Korean street corn, and my order was the postickers and boa buns.
Overall most of the food had great flavor. I loved how they tossed the potstickers inside the sauce, so much so I didn't need dipping sauce on the side. The Koren street corn was very cheesy if thats what you're into and the sauce on the wings was amazing. However, the to me the wings were not flavorful themselves, so I believe with out the outside sauce they would be bland. The chicken bao buns were also good, but I wished the buns themselves were warm instead of ice cold.
I could definitely see myself coming back to order new items from their featured menu!

Restaurantji Recommends
An outstanding restaurant for Korean cuisine with reasonable prices. The Fried Chicken and Japchae are excellent and a "must try". The Fried Chicken comes with a selection of four good sauces. We definitely will be back to try other dishes and will adjust our review appropriately.

Great fried chicken with an awesome crunch. Definitely pay attention to spice levels if you aren’t a fan of spicy, Korean spicy is a bit different like a savory spice but still can be hot compared to what you might be used to. If you enjoy spicy food or feel adventurous definitely check it out as they put traditional wing places to shame.

We just found our new favorite chicken place. Truly delicious and crispy. Excellent sauces. Very reasonably priced bar drinks. I only wish I had tried them sooner!

On our initial visit after hearing about Bonchon, atmosphere is fresh, open and a modern layout, courteous and smiling hostess upon arrival, missing much less flavor than expected..soy garlic and Korean BBQ wings perfectly double fried but without flavor to impress. If a dish is calling for "garlic", let garlic have her perfect work!! I suggest menu authorities should sample and vet the actual menu item versus the flavor it wants to produce at the customer level...the clients' palates is your goal!!
