Our family has been eating at Boondinis since 1985. When you want a great bowl of soup or chili and great sandwiches, this has always been the ONLY stop. Sadly, we will miss this North Raleigh nstitution. Well done Billy and team. Enjoy retirement.

Very good sandwiches!! Fresh and tasty sandwiches made to order! One of my favorite places to go for an Italian sub.

This local joint is one of a kind! The sandwiches are unique and delicious. Unfortunately it will close at the end of the year so get your boondini fix now!!! The owner is often there and is retiring. The lease expired and supposedly another business will open in that spot. Our loss because Boondini's is a local favorite.

Omg so sad this place is closing at the end of the year. The food is great here, and this place has so much history and character. Big corporate piranhas are not allowing them to renew their lease due to an anchor store. If you get there before they close try the Rueben or the Secretary. This is also the only place I can always get a fruit bowl that is good everytime. I swear the owner must try all the fruit to make sure it is ripe. Details like that matter!

The best word to describe this place : okay. Just okay. We walked thru the doors and began looking at a menu as it was our first time and I wanted to see if there was any specialty subs or something new when one of the ladies working the register just abruptly comes over and asks for us to order. I told her I'd need a minute and -- she didn't leave. She took a deep sigh and had this really aggressive attitude. At this point I felt really anxious about bothering her so I just ordered what I usually do at sub shops and called it the day. The lady wasn't welcoming at all and didn't have a happy vibe to her. I wanted to ask about specials or peppers added on but she gave me such a crappy vibe I didn't dare. We sat down and the chairs had crumbs on it. Ew. It was like every chair had crumbs. Just not the best feeling. But we sit, get our food and -- it's literally like I ordered from a cafeteria. It came on this cafeteria tray and the sandwiches were so tiny... I was taken off guard. I was expecting some kind of presentation, ya know? Like either it's on a plate or maybe it's handed to us and not on a tray and wrapped in tin foil. Not for $17. The sandwich was okay. That's the best word to describe it. Okay. Nothing to write home about. I saw that a regular customer had come in and the owner, including that rude lady at the counter were so sweet to her. Just felt crappy to be totally disregarded as a first time customer. Yeah, I won't be coming back. That sandwich could have been half the cost elsewhere and a lot more flavourful and had at least a bag of chips or something to wash it down with. $17 for two small sandwiches just pheeeew! (Guess this place is also closing for good soon from what I saw so maybe the owner just doesn't care anymore. Would make sense why our sandwiches were subpar and the workers so rude.)

Boundini's is a very nice sandwich parlor. They excellent choices at excellent prices. They are efficient and attentive. Unfortunately they are shutting down by the end of the year, because of the new landlord who wants to raise their rent exponancially!!!

It is a wonderful place to eat. All sandwiches are very tasteful. It will be closing in December due to owner retiring.

I love supporting this small business. I had heard rumors that it was closing soon which I hope isn't true since I've been coming here with my family since I was a young girl. The staff are efficient and friendly and you can tell the owner is passionate about his job. Yummy orangeade!

My turkey sandwich was pretty good but nothing more than a standard sub. The prices were a lill bit high but its a pretty dank spot and they got gooood soup

The best orangeade! And great sandwiches.

Old school sandwich shop with great customer service and good portions. I ordered a ham and swiss on pumpernickel. It was toasted and had a ton of ham on it. The people who were working were very friendly and that always makes a place better. I'm not a big sandwich person but this was good and I'm glad I tried it.
