I made a reservation three weeks in advance for a Thursday evening (table for 4, indoor/outdoor garden terrace area, 7pm), and confirmed my reservation with the restaurant as prompted in OpenTable. When we arrived, the bouncer told us that if we weren’t one of the two large private events, we just had to go to the outdoor rooftop and talk to the bartender to see if we could sit somewhere up there. The bartender was kind but not prepared and had no record of our reservation.
I received no communication at all that our reservation wasn’t going to be honored and offered no real solution. I was surprised and disappointed at how it was handled.
We either should have been told with as much notice as possible that our reservation wasn’t going to be honored or not been allowed to book it in the first place, I doubt events renting out a floor each in December wouldn’t be planned in advance.

I booked for the terrace but when I showed up they had two different corporate events taking up the first two floors, putting us out in the outdoor rooftop bar. The bartender was lovely but there was no communication that my reservation was changed until I got there - which was frustrating.

I hosted a small party here fairly last minute and they were fantastic to work with. We were in the downstairs lounge space which has a great vibe. Out bartender/server was very attentive, and we all had a great time. Music was both upbeat and chill, and not too loud. We ordered food from the catering menu, so I can't speak to their tapas (which looked great), but the catered food was good. My only nit-pick would be that it was made ahead of time so the crackers/pita were a little stale/soggy. The drinks were made really well and balanced, and prices were good. We will absolutely be back for a normal night there, as well as for our organization's parties in the future.

The atmosphere was absolutely lovely. I had some trouble reserving at other places for my birthday but here they were very accommodating! They were extremely attentive, patient, and fun! When we walked in they asked if we were for the party and welcomes us in and made sure we were all comfortable. I cannot stress enough how much of a lovely experience my friends and I had. Absolutely would come again and recommend!

I had the pleasure of having my wedding hosted at botanical over this past weekend. Everything was better than we could have asked for. We worked directly with Miriam who was above and beyond from start to finish. She helped us with everything from how we would do every part of the ceremony down to packing our things up while we enjoyed the wedding. Even the food was absolutely amazing and the bartenders didnt skip a beat with the absurd amount we ordered. Everything was super clean and organized incredibly. I can not recommend botanical enough.

My wife and I had reservations and did not get attended to for about 40 minutes. This was after I went and stood at the bar for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged that I was there. The owner finally came over to the table that we had sat at and took our drink order. I order an entree and never got it. I mentioned this to one of the three people that sporadically came by and she asked if I still wanted it. It was salty when it arrived. This all took about 2 1/2 hours. I was parked in a small pay lot which my time lapsed on because I only expected to be there for about an hour. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. I had planned on going to several other places that we did not get to go.

Our first visit to Botanical Lounge was unfortunately very disappointing. We were on the rooftop on Saturday, October 18, to celebrate a birthday and expected a welcoming experience, but the bartender’s demeanor made the visit uncomfortable. He appeared disinterested and uneasy, offering no greeting or acknowledgment when we approached the bar. When we asked about a drink selection, he seemed visibly annoyed, as though speaking with guests was an inconvenience.
It is possible that he was new or nervous, but someone in a customer-facing role, especially as a bartender, should be approachable, attentive, and professional. The lack of basic courtesy set an unpleasant tone for what should have been a special night. Because of this, we decided to go somewhere else, which was an inconvenience and disappointing after making plans to celebrate there.
I hope management will take this feedback seriously and provide additional training or support to ensure guests receive the level of hospitality expected. Sadly, this experience left a poor impression, and we do not plan to return.
