A spot to see the Raleigh skyline if desired. It's a very brief experience (the skyline can be viewed from the walkway over the bridge which is very short) and a short walk after you find parking on a nearby street.

My son loved our trip to this bridge! If you are looking for trains to spot, this is a great spot. Park for free around the corner and enjoy to your hearts content.

Nice and simple view of downtown Raleigh I enjoyed it with my girlfriend. And if you Lucky you can see the train coming.
Pretty neat area. There is a little park where you can find some parking. There is a pretty good view of the city, but I think the night view is probably much better than the day. They are also doing some construction, which takes away from the Skyline. While there, an artist was working on a mural. They are definitely adding some color to it. Next to is on one side is a restaurant/Brewery and the other is a hippyish looking coffee shop. It's definitely worth checking out.
