Pretty neat area. There is a little park where you can find some parking. There is a pretty good view of the city, but I think the night view is probably much better than the day. They are also doing some construction, which takes away from the Skyline. While there, an artist was working on a mural. They are definitely adding some color to it. Next to is on one side is a restaurant/Brewery and the other is a hippyish looking coffee shop. It's definitely worth checking...
X marks the spot for another tourist attraction I found on Google that didn't disappoint me at Boylan Bridge in Raleigh. The view of the city is unbelievable. If you're looking for the perfect shot of the capital, this is the spot! I’m talking about both ground and aerial views. It offers a perfect urban backdrop with plenty of walking space on this bridge. Make a note of this location if you want to capture that amazing shot of the city!
This is actually the third version of Boylan bridge, with the first version being made from wood in the 1800s. This version has been in place since the 80s.Today, the bridge provides the best view there is of the Raleigh skyline. Underneath the bridge are railroad tracks that are used by over a dozen trains a day and they make quite the sight.
