I wish I could give a half star because then I'd rate my experience at Brew 4.5 stars. I'd never been to this coffee bar before and on this damp humid autumn morning I dropped in to warm up, dry off and chill with a cup of coffee. It's situated in a modern looking row of establishments that have come to symbolize this new Raleigh look so the visual appeal was definitely there. The people who work there did their jobs as baristas if you know what I mean, laconic, methodical in preparing the coffee and the Americano they gave me was a good cup of coffee. I get the bar motif with the tall bar stools and bench like seating along one wall which I found incongruous with my nice cup of coffee. No matter how long I tried to settle in I couldn't get comfortable. The next time I go and I will go back and suggest you go too I'll get my cup to go. Thanks Brew. You made a rainy day an enjoyable one with your coffee.

Coffee was burnt and tasted bad. It's a cute cafe with a few seatings. Relaxing atmosphere to study or chat with a friend.

Best pour-over coffee in Raleigh.

I'm really getting into this cortado thing. Yeah, it's because Alton Brown mentioned it but as I have them more and more instead of latte or cappuccino, I am understanding why. Instead of "foamed" milk, the cortado is simply "steamed" milk mixed with an equal portion of espresso. Definitely a richer flavor. I stopped in to BREW this morning and had my cortado which was served in a cute glass cup. Super hot and very delicious, I hung out for about a half hour with my laptop to read my morning emails before getting into the office. No surprises. BREW is a lovely coffee bar and there's plenty of room here for laptoping. And it's just far enough away from downtown Raleigh that I would imagine it doesn't have the all day people here. Comfortable spot. I'll be back. [Review 11811 overall, 1593 of 2019.]

The staff are friendly and our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the preparation of all the items on the menu.

This is my first time visiting Raleigh. We found free parking right away and were greeted warmly in the café. We ordered on the more traditional side in order to get a feel for their espresso and brewed coffee. My boyfriend had a nitro cold brew, which was good, it's a bit hard to mess up a cold brew. I had a cappuccino, but it felt more like a latte because it was not foam heavy and the shots were bitter. We also ate a chocolate chip cookie and a banana oat bar. Both treats were average. I rated 3 stars and almost 4 because of the service and warmth. The nitro was the highlight of the order.

Terrific little coffee shop. Drip coffee is excellent.

The man taking our order was so rude and didn't even speak. A COFFEE SHOP didn't even have iced coffees. What coffee shops don't have iced coffees? Would not recommend coming here at all.

I would definitely come back here! The coffee was pretty good and my favorite macarons were featured too. I wish they had a sign of their coffee, they had little sheets though. The art (available for purchase) and coffee bar was super cute. Staff was very sweet. Thanks y'all!

My favorite coffee shop, by far! Each day last summer, I spent my mornings greeted by the friendly staff there with a great cup of coffee. Their atmosphere is very busy, yet welcoming and comfortable. They have gluten free options, too. I definitely recommend BREW!

I visited on a Sunday morning. Great atmosphere. It was quiet, the ladies at the counter were friendly, and the coffee was perfect. The taste was excellent and oddly the temperature was perfect. Not steaming hot but hot enough to enjoy. Probably the best coffee I've had. I will visit again soon.

Good coffee, helpful and friendly baristas. Oat milk lattes are always a win! There's plenty of outlets and comfy chairs to work to your heart's content. Food is good too - had some really hearty cranberry oatmeal for breakfast.
