I literally love this place food is so good, hot chocolate always hit the spot! Waiters so kind! Atmosphere 10/10 i love the decoration with the huge spoon. Thank you Briggs!
Food was good but the kitchen undercooked my waffle after they overlooked it on the order. They also forgot the cheese in my grits.
World classic service. Thanks Shelby!
Easy place to bring kids. Variety of breakfast and lunch foods for everyone. Very busy on weekends and holidays.
Always have a good experience here. My favorite is the Virginia scramble. My spouse loves the skillet meals. The wait staff listens when I order my tea and always correctly fulfills my order. To me, it's the little things that make a meal special.
Great food & service!

I had chicken and waffles, but the chicken was chicken tenders and it was hard and dry. Perhaps I came on a bad day. It was my birthday. My first time eating there. I may try it again, but I will order something different.

This is an old Raleigh staple that I have been to multiple times over the years, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and quick, without feeling rushed.
I ordered the Ultimate Omelet, and it was delicious! It was packed with fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and bursting with flavor. The portion size was generous, and every bite was satisfying. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast or a casual place to catch up with friends, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning soon!

For me, this restaurant is not as good as it used to be. As someone who does not live locally, maybe it’s been my luck that I was not wowed with the food as I was originally. This has been my experience on the last 2 visits. I must say after being in VB 2 weeks before coming to NC and eating amazing crab cakes, the crab cake at Briggs was decent and better than expected. Overall not a bad meal now, just not as I remember.

This was my first visit here. Juanita is an excellent server. She brought anything I wanted BEFORE I even asked. So courteous and sweet. Most of all professional.
The food was really good. Had the chicken and eggs. Home fries and a crab cake. All was delicious. The crab cake was ok.
Clean atmosphere.
