Heads up for those that order online and show up early vs. going into the store. You will wait a long time. I ordered online and showed up shortly after. I waited 30 minutes to get my order. All the while, customers are coming in and walking out. So I asked what was taking so long? I was rudely informed there were five online orders in front of me, and apparently, anyone who walks in to order goes ahead of the online orders. I won't be heading to this store again. With the attitude I received and the wait, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Lastly, they burnt my kids bagels 🫤

Went to this location for the first time in a long time and I was really impressed with the customer service and the quality of the food! It was worth the drive across town!

I ordered the bagels in the store. I left missing one bagel and my bagel wasn’t correctly made. When I called, I spent also 30 mins trying to get in touch with someone there and no one answered. This was highly disappointing and I could say this would be a reason why I don’t go back there.

Never again!

This location used to be a great experience on Sunday mornings.

Sadly, this is the last time eating at Bruegger's. My wife and I have been coming here for years, mostly on weekends. We have accepted the change in the traffic pattern. However, with this morning's cold food after watching a guy preparing someone else's bagel in one hand while texting on his phone with the other, is unacceptable and we can't do it anymore. Last, we had to eat in the car, due to the eating area not being cleaned.

This was a terrible experience. I waited 30 minutes after ordering for them to tell me they were out of plain bagels and it would be another 10 minutes. So I just asked for a refund, and they spent forever trying to figure out how to do that in their POS system. Eventually, they couldn't figure it out and just gave me cash. Everyone in line was miserable and the tables were disgusting. I'll never go back.

This is the DMV of bagel shops. To say it is slow is an understatement. 25 minutes for two bagels and only 2 other patrons. They didn’t even toast the bagel, forgot the cream cheese, and didn’t slice the other bagel. Absolutely avoid this location.

We walked into the store and there was one customer ahead of us. We ordered a few bagels and patiently waited. Meanwhile, the coffee was empty and we were told it would be ready in 5 minutes. After asking twice in the span of 20 minutes, the coffee finally came out. Our bagels soon followed. Each bagel was made incorrectly. We ordered a basic bagel with jalepeno cream cheese. The bagels had bacon in them. Not sure how you can mess up a simple bagel and cream cheese order, but they did. On top of that, we observed them giving other customers there order. They would put the bag over their little window just for them to fall on the floor in front. Not sure how these employees are trained but if this is how they are with no one in the store, I would never come back during peak crowd times. Go to another location if you want your bagels. We finally got our correct bagels after 45 minutes

Bagels are good, but they have shrunk in size, and the price has gone up like everything else.

Nice restaurant and convenient location near Six Forks and 540. Friendly staff and quick food prep. You can also order ahead and just walk in and pickup with no contact. They recently changed their in-store order process. You place your order and pay in advance at the register, then wait for your order. It works okay enough, but when it's busy, everyone is just standing in a big group waiting, causing a hassle trying to figure out which order is for which person.Just order ahead and avoid the confusion.

They've changed up how you order. In my 6 years of going to this location you have always ordered at the food counter and paid at the register. Today, when I made my way to the food counter, a man at the register told me I don't order there anymore. Maybe it was because it was early but it seemed a little abrasive. I always enjoy greeting the people that are making my food because it starts my morning out right. Today I was told I couldn't do that and for the first time in all 6 years my order was wrong. Could have been avoided if the ordering method stayed the same.

I have been coming here for years, and something has changed. The food is awful. I would not recommend this location at all. Ordered a bagel with extra toppings. I had to return to this location which is a super inconvenience. The veggies on the bagel were black and old.

Do not like the order process. Ordered a breakfast bagleand it was not right. Wanted it without the sliced cheese bit cream cheese. Was charged for the sandwich pus cream cheese (I guess that is what I got) change back to ordering with the erson making the food and not someone punching buttons!! Will give a shout out to the people working. They were doing what they could to complete orders quickly

Now that the dining room is reopened, it is a good place to meet friends for breakfast. Unfortunately the management has changed things up to keep you from talking to the people who actually put together your food. It is a step in the wrong direction making the whole experience both less personable and less efficient.
