This bubble tea shop has an impressive variety of flavors and options, including popping and non-popping boba. I got the lychee fruit tea with lychee popping bubbles.
It's a smaller space, so I would recommend it for one-on-one dates or for a small group of friends. The murals and overall bee-themed aesthetic of this place is very cute, and I loved the hexagonal tables that you can push together to make bigger tables. The servers are also very nice. I would definitely like to come back and try other tea flavors here next time I'm in North Carolina.
I would especially recommend this place for people with dairy intolerances, as they offer fruit tea and dairy-free milk tea with oat or almond milk. You can also adjust the sweetness level of your drink, which is nice for those watching their sugar consumption.

This was my strawberry matcha I purchased Saturday, May 10th. When it was passed to me, I thought it was the wrong drink until I read the label. The matcha powder used had to have been oxidized or of a poor grade. I ended up throwing it away after a few sips.

Very nice, cozy atmosphere, clean bathroom, friendly staff. I personally didn't like the tayaki (I tried red bean, cream cheese and the Boston creme), as someone with a sweet tooth it just wasn't my thing but if you like desserts with a more neutral or savory taste it would probably be better suited. The boba is always fresh, I've gone during different times and it's been great each time. Macarons are also delicious.

Update 04/10/25: I stopped in to get a boba tea and taiyaki.. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since my last visit two years ago. The drink was okay but the food? The taiyaki was bitter. I took a bite, chewed a few times and had to spit it out. Hoping it was a fluke (because who likes wasting money in this economy?) I tried a second bite and same thing; chewed a few times and had to spit it out due to the bitter taste. If I ever come back, it'll be solely to get the tea.
Mu family is obsessed with bees so it seemed natural to come here. We have visited at least three times now and drive over an hour(one way) each visit. The macarons are okay, not really worth almost $3 for a tiny cookie, the taiyaki is AMAZING (red bean is the best!) and if you're unsure of a drink, taro milk is the way to go!! 🖤 My only complaint is I wish the cashiers/baristas were more friendly.. quite a few of them act like it would hurt to smile.
Really good BUT I’ve noticed the staff after 5pm may not get it right. I only have issues after 5pm so I try to order before then. I actually got my order remade but it tasted like it did before. I’m so glad I had mango flavor at home to add to my drink.. otherwise I wouldn’t of been too happy.

Wow, what a great place to stop in and get some really cool refreshing drinks. They have anything from coffee and espresso to fruit drinks and juices. There’s so many things to choose from you can’t go wrong. The store is very clean and very trendy with the bumblebee theme tables And such. Everything is made fresh right there in front of you clean area. Located really close to other stores in the shopping center, which makes it nice to pop in and have a refreshing drink while shopping. If you’re in the area pop in and try some. It wasn’t very crowded at the time I went, which was about 4 o’clock not sure if it’s busier at other times, I’m sure they have their rush hours like every place.
