I honestly was thrilled when I found out a burgerfi was opening down the street from me. I lived in Cary for 10 years and ordered from the Weston location at least twice a week. I have ordered from this location twice and have been horribly disappointed in the food quality. Both times I have ordered the meat was dry and tasted like leftovers that had been hanging around for awhile. The fries tasted like they were cooked an hour ago. I don’t understand what is so hard for food establishments to understand in NC but if the food quality is sub par people will not order again. You will lose customers and eventually your business will fail. Consistency in food quality is key in running a restaurant and for the prices I have paid I expect so much more. I don’t think I will be ordering from here again and I hate it because I literally want to support local business and enjoy what they have to offer. Just very disappointed in the quality of food received from this place

So glad these guys are finally open. This location has been in the works for 7 years!! WTH? They had a soft open 12-10-25. Grand opening is January 15, 2026. All that said, my burger 🍔 was excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpful and place was ultra-clean. I usually eat at the downtown Raleigh location but I will be shifting my business now to here. Night manager fully explained their two-step cooking procedure for their daily fresh-cut delicious fries. Highly recommended eatery. BTW: This location has a drive-thru! Woo-hoo!

All I can say is WOW!

My church group and I called several restaurants in Wake Forest looking for a place to have dinner on Christmas Eve. Most were either closed, closing early, or not very accommodating—which we completely understood given the holiday. When we called BurgerFi, they too were planning to close early. However, once the manager learned that we were struggling to find a place to eat after our service, he went above and beyond and offered to stay open for our entire group so we could enjoy dinner together.

That level of kindness and customer service is rare these days, and it truly meant so much to us. BurgerFi did something they didn’t have to do, and it deserves to be recognized and appreciated.

On top of the outstanding service, the food and atmosphere were top-notch. We were able to watch and listen to the football game while we ate, and instead of being rushed out because it was Christmas Eve, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They even brought out sample items for us to try—many of us were first-time visitors—and the onion rings, sweet potato fries, and urban-style fries were huge hits with our group.

On behalf of our church group and myself, thank you again for such an incredible experience. I vote we make this a yearly Christmas Eve tradition! Either way, you’ll definitely be seeing me again very soon.

Kevin and the team at the Wakefield BurgerFi are outstanding. All my experiences here have been excellent. The gluten free options taste excellent as well.

I dined in at the new BurgerFi on Wakefield Commons Drive (12/12) and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Kiaeisha took my order and was incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though it was her first day, she did a phenomenal job and wasn’t afraid to ask her leadership questions to make sure everything was perfect — that really stood out to me.

The restaurant was very clean, and I was later approached by Brooklyn, who was also super friendly and suggested adding marshmallow fluff to go with my sweet potato fries — chef’s kiss! 😋 That suggestion alone took the meal to the next level.

I ordered the CEO Wagyu Burger, sweet potato waffle fries, and a waffle drink, and everything was a solid 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Graey also checked on me during my meal and asked how everything was. I let her know it was phenomenal and even asked for everyone’s names so I could leave this review.

I also received some BurgerFi coupons, which I’ll definitely be using before the end of December. If you haven’t given BurgerFi a try yet, this location is a must. Great food, great service, and an amazing team! 👏🍔

First, coming in all the employees were super friendly and attentive. Had a small mix up with my meal during a busy lunch rush, no biggie we’re all humans . They went out of their way to make it right and went above and beyond when they didn’t need to do everything they did. Great food . Super clean . Will be coming back and highly recommend coming to this location . Service was spectacular as well as the food . Super appreciative of how I was treated at my visit.

Visit on 12/23
This was our family's first time at Burger Fi and our experience was great from start to finish. What really stood out to me was how attentive the staff was. We went to watch a movie at the local theater that had 1/2 off tickets and then stopped for a burger, to my surprise children eat free on Tuesdays 😲. This is so great for families in the community. I'm visiting from out of state. I wish there was one near me. The food was delicous!

I wish I had caught the name of the gentleman (early 30s maybe) who was cleaning tables, running food, and checking on guests when I visited around 7 p.m. on Sunday night, but he really made our experience unforgettable. He checked in on us multiple times, and when he noticed my son was only eating his fries and not the chicken tenders, he came over to ask if everything was okay. I explained that my son had changed his mind about his order after we'd already placed it—he initially wanted chicken tenders but decided on a cheeseburger instead, which happens often when we eat out.

About 4 minutes later, I was pleasantly surprised when that same gentleman (Manager I think) came back with a cheeseburger and another order of fries for my son. I hadn’t asked for this, and I told him everything was fine, but he went above and beyond. The kindness and attention to detail were just incredible. You should have seen my son's face—it was like he’d just received an early Christmas gift, all because of a cheeseburger and fries.

Thank you so much to the BurgerFi team and especially to that gentleman. You made our night! The food was great, but the service was what truly stood out. We’ll definitely be back soon—it might just be my son's new favorite spot!

Tonight was my first time at a Burger Fi and I will say it was Extremely Welcoming. The staff was super helpful to me and the other customers who were all trying to figure out what to order, because honestly it all looked so good. But I got the Grilled Chicken Sliders and to be honest the chicken was so good I thought it was went to a chicken restaurant. ;) I was also brought out some sweet potato fries that were covered in cinnamon sugar and came with some kind of marshmallow dipping sauce? And OMG let me tell you they were soooo good, there was nothing left when they took my tray! #CRUSHEDIT #CLEANPLATE

So excited that you opened right around the corner from my APT. Because where are just not enough GOOD-EATS in WF. But this place takes the cake! See ya soon.
