Honestly,

This is the worst food I have ever had in my entire life. I don’t even understand what this is. Disgusting.

Food is always good! However it seemed dirty in the bathroom as well as the dining area.. the service was okay I mean I got what I wanted but definitely not people that want to work there.. which made it kind of awkward

The preparer did exactly what I asked for on my burrito. The food was great as usual. The employees were very friendly and know how to take care of their guests.

Low end chipotle, absolutely no flavor. Cooking area was disgusting

Good portions, but completely flavorless and very greasy. They were out of chicken and steak, leaving very little options, and the prep are was quite dirty. Cute decor, but stone cold quiet with no music, so awkward. Would not return.

The best place for catering! The food was fantastic and the owner, GM, and staff were awesome. Very professional, kind, and helpful when I was doing a large catering order for a teacher luncheon. Great option for people with dietary restrictions also. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: Management is very knowledgeable about ingredients in reference to allergies. Great catering option for multiple dietary restrictions. Satisfied our gluten free, dairy free, tomato and herb allergies.

First time customer…BUT NOT THE LAST TIME!!!!

I wanted to try something other than Moe’s or Chipotle, so I finally stopped in to see how the food was here. I’ve known about this place for some time, but always frequently restaurants close by. I actually was preparing to depart from the shopping center to go somewhere else to eat when I saw Burrito Shak out of my rear view mirror and turned around. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!! I was greeted promptly as I entered, and was struck by the ambience - I felt like I stepped out of Raleigh and into a Caribbean spot - from the colorful color scheme, to the rustic furniture, to the island music, it all made for an island feel/experience. The staff were friendly and provided great feedback as to what first-timers should try. Against my normal protocol, I gave their suggestions a try and it was another great decision!! I purchased the Fire Shot bowl. Although it reminded me of a mixture of Chipotle and Moe’s, the taste was unique in its own right. Even though I chose a bowl on the menu, I was able to add additional ingredients as I saw fit. Most ingredients were at no additional cost, but the staff made sure to indicate which items costed extra. The sauces were varied and I particularly enjoyed the peach salsa!!!! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the mixture of ingredients was delicious. I made a point to purchase one of their chocolate chip cookies on display before I left…full of chocolate chips and soft, just the way I prefer them!! DEFINITELY going back in the future on a day when I desire a burrito or bowl……AND A CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE!! ?

Vegetarian options: Many vegetables available but didn’t look to see if a section was indicated.

Parking: There is parking available in front and along the side of the restaurant

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu variety.

Burrito is bland. Very little flavor. Even with no protein (tofu is deep fried ?), veggie burrito was $13. Could have gone to Gonza's and had much better and more food for a few dollars more. Quality and flavor don't justify the price imo. Employees were great, Quick and helpful. 2 stars refer to the quality of the ingredients and price

Horrible experience on a Sunday evening. Item was made completely wrong. Also missing the queso that was ordered. Restaurant was being staffed by high schoolers wearing headphones and not paying attention. Won’t be back and encourage others to stay away.

First time trying this place after moving to Raleigh - we thought it was great! Food was fresh and portions were large for the price.

Reminded me a lot of Surf Taco, a small chain in NJ, although I thought Burrito Shak was better. Will definitely be back!
