The soups and sandwiches were really good and made from fresh ingredients. I really don't understand making customers walk three blocks in sub zero temperatures to get cash because they a) don't want to eat the 3% cost of a cc purchase or b) they are not reporting the income. This should just be a cost of doing business or give the customer an option to pay an additional .40 to .50 cents instead of pushing them out in the cold. In the end despite good tasting food, it left a bad taste in my mouth

Awesome find right off the Neuse River Trail! We had the chicken apple cranberry and Cobb salads. Both were tasty and plentiful. The apple cider vinaigrette was the perfect dressing. We also tried the gelato, which was good but not the best I've ever had. However, the eclair was delicious. Totally worth the 15 mile ride to get here. We will be back.
What a great little local place. Stop by for breakfast (all day), a sandwich, a beer or glass of wine, some gelato, it's all really good. You'll be glad you did.

Had the Cranberry Apple Salad again today, so fresh & crisp, sooo good! Apple Cider Vinaigrette is tasty. When not focusing on my health, the Pimento Cheese/Bacon/Tomato on Rye is a favorite, as is the Philly Cheese Steak. Convient, friendly owners and great eats & sweets!
