My husband and I enjoyed our first meal at this restaurant on a Friday evening after work approx 6:30. This Mexican Seafood and Grill restaurant was clean, had a nice beachy-themed decor, spacious with ample seating. There also appears to be outside seating available. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted, seated and served a complimentary seafood salad and corn tostada chips. We enjoyed it with a Bahama Mama and Blue Margarita. No skimping on alcohol with my Bahama Mama. Yum!Our meals soon followed. My husband ordered the #2 Seafood Combo platter of Crab legs, lobster tails, Mussels, Shrimp with potato and corn on the cob, all wonderfully seasoned and reminded us of a seafood boil. It was DELICIOUS! Would definitely order again! I ordered the grilled oysters (12). They were delicious but small and served with a cup of so-so white rice. I would probably not order this again and instead try other options.Our server was friendly and attentive. Food tasted fresh and was reasonably priced for this area and amount of food that came on the platter.I deducted 1 star because my husband’s dinner arrived first and mine came approx 5-10 minutes later.Good thing he didn’t mind sharing until my oysters arrived.Overall, we will definitely return and highly recommend this seafood restaurant in Pleasant Valley, just off Glenwood Avenue around the corner from Ross and directly across Glenwood from Panera.

Amazingly mixed review. This is a Spanish speaking probably Mexican restaurant that isn't listed as such. The receipt you receive is from the Crab House which this is not. The food we received for take-out was very good, fried calamari basket and a fried flounder basket. The receipt was for a shrimp/calamari plate and a fried catfish basket. The price was about $30 for the wrong stuff versus $22 for the ordered stuff. We discovered this only after we got home, so caveat emptor. I hope they get their act together because the food is good.

8/6/201- STAY AWAY- My boyfriend and I ordered the crab and shrimp and did not get what was supposed to come with the meal. The meal was supposed to be for $39.99 the following:-- 2 cluster of crab legs- sausage-corn-1 pound of shriimpThey sent out 1 cluster crab leg, 1 corn (which was old --we did not eat), no sausage, 1 potato, about 12 shelled shrimp. I tried to eat the potatoe and one crab leg (not cluster). The staff did not speak English, and I tried to tell them what the cook told us what came with the meal and when we got it. It wasn't right. The boyfriend don't like conflict we just kept it and find myself writing a review. My bill was $113....I clearly could have had better meal elsewhere for the price. I asked for manager, they never came...so we paid and left. The service was very horrible....I tried to give it a try as I am far from bias and embrace all culture. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....THIS IS NOT A CRAB HOUSE ....This is a Mexican restaurant with very poor service...OH YEAH COVID--- This place became so crowded with people no social distancing enforced...We just packed it up and left. The bugs at the bar was over bearing we could not really eat then if we were on the floor do many people on top of each other....STAY AWAY...TRUST

SERVICE SO BAD IM WRITING A REVIEW We went (black couple) in and no one came to seated us , therefore we just went to the bar. The staff really didn't speak English so I had to ask someone at the bar to translate. The person at the bar was a worker (one of the cooks). that was off work. We order the Crab and shrimp and when asked they said 2 cluster and 1 pound of shrimp with sausage and corn. All we got was 1 cluster, 1 potatoe, no sausage, old corn and about 12 shelled shrimp for $40 a piece. I tried to explain to the staff that we were told what it comes with...but they did not speak English. I asked to speak to the manager and they never came. I was told who the manager was and they decided not to make there way to resolve the problem. I do not recommend eating here and I am "SERIOUS". I paid to please my friend and not to disturb the peace...this is why I am writing the review. YOU WILL NOT GET TREATED like you are welcome,...but like a joke as people come and look at your plate and laugh...and coming out the kitchen and laughing. I will be filing a compliant even further as this was just unacceptable. COVID policy had to be out of the window. It was so many people in there and not social distance or mask. The staff had them, however the crowd was to close together....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU ARE NOT OF CULTURE OR TRYING TO AVOID GET THE VIRUS...STAY AWAY.....TRUST. OH yeah the bugs at the bar was horrible...couldn't eat or drink in peace...I had to back it up and leave

People are reviewing this restaurant poorly but it is not the Crab House Co. I stopped by for lunch yesterday and realized it's now a Mexican Seafood restaurant. I have never eaten at Crab House Co. but we decided to try this new place. It was absolutely amazing! Maybe a little pricey for lunch but the portions were huge! Delicious food and an inspired menu. I will definitely go back. To respond to another reviewer, they have English language menus now and our server was very happy to explain everything. A delightful experience all around. My 5 star review is for this new Marisco. Unfortunately I dont recall the new name.

Tried to order on GrubHub. According to my delivery driver, the restaurant is no longer at this address and it's in Chapel Hill instead. Might want to get that fixed igured out.Pretty sure I've eaten here before and it was tasty, but don't feel like going out tonight and now have to restart the whole delivery process again from a different restaurant.

The sign outside says Crab House Co. but when you sit down and get a menu it’s a completely different name. The hostess gave us Spanish menus which we hadn’t realized, when the waitress came we asked for an English menu and she told us they do not have English menus. The waitress didn’t even bother to explain anything on the menu (which we couldn’t understand because it was in Spanish). We ended up leavingbecause that screams poor customer service.

I went to the establishment with my sister excited that we finally got to go to our favorite restaurant. To get to the restaurant to live music whic was okay until it was loud and ongoing with no breaks, then they didn’t have any signage to state they had change the name and management of the store, we learned this after we were handed menus in Spanish. They then to,d us that everything changed and they are no longer a seafood restaurant they serve different foods which is perfectly find but they wouldn’t give us a English version of the menu so when didn’t know what to order and none of them assisted explaining. There was a employee that kept staring at us I don’t know if she wanted to speak or if it was her job description but it kinda freaked us out. We aren’t going back sadly, nothing against them changing the restaurant, sometimes changes are good but these changes we not well thought out or they purposely didn’t want to cater to any of us (not a race thing they did the same to English speaking white customers also) they lost a lot of business opportunities because people couldn’t read the menu.
Was my first time I loved it! My waitress was awesome she has red hair and a Latino accent either way tell her keep up the work.(didn't get her name) The seafood boil and crab cakes was delicious ?

Talk about fast service on Mother's Day. Yummy food ,clean environment,friendly staff. The only issue I had was the hot sauce jars were sticky. They may have have missed that one thing. But over all it was a great place to eat. I will go again..
