Let me say… I own Fat Tuesday and I work nonstop at the bar. I have no time to cook home cooked meals anymore. We have food and it’s good but it’s bar food. I wanted a home cooked meal. I ordered the fried ribs, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, rice and jerk chicken (my husband was eating too). Let me tell you…. I ate good! It all was delicious! It was plenty of food too! Nothing but crumbs left. Don’t walk, run and get you some food now! 🙌🏾😋

The customer service staff was rude and denied me service and also used discrimination.

I work across the pond from their shop and I love it. It's so cute on the inside, I saw they had board games for people and such a cozy space. And the treats? So good! I've only been twice but both times I've loved what I got. I tried the cookies and creme rice krispie so yummy and I recently got the oatmeal creme pie cake in a jar and it was on point! I guess it's a good problem to have a place with yummy treats near my job 😄

We recently had Cake Couture cater our wedding at the Grand Marquis Ballroom. We are absolutely glad that we chose them. The food and service was AMAZING. They made us feel more like family than customers. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Our wedding was in April 2025 and we couldn't have asked for a better caterer ! Brie and her team did not miss a beat, absolutely amazing from beginning to the end. From the appetizers to the main course and the cake. We had chicken and waffles, shrimp kabobs , bourbon salmon, herb chicken, potatoes, salted caramel cake, just to name a few lol..People often have low expectations about wedding food in general but not over at Cake Couture 🤤 , every bite was full of flavor and will pass the eye test. We received and continue to receive so many compliments about how good the food was, the temperature, the taste, the look, the presentation, …. In addition to the catering team, they were attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you so much for making our day special and the food even more memorable. Our guest will continue to talk about it for days to come. Cake couture will not disappoint, we highly recommend.

I've had the misfortune of tasting the worst wedding and groom's cakes. The wedding cake's excessive fondant made cutting impossible for the newlyweds. Its appearance suggested an amateur baker and decorator. The cake's texture was dry and crumbly, similar to cornmeal cornbread. The owner's professionalism was lacking, with poor communication and unreliable commitments. She excelled at sales but failed to deliver on promises. Our attempts to support black-owned businesses in Raleigh-Durham for our children's weddings yielded consistently poor service and overpricing. Price wasn't an issue, but quality and disappointment were significant concerns. Hopefully, others fared better.

Looking to order a cake from them but their hours are incorrectly posted online. You call they have different hours, then I show up during the hours they list on their voicemail and the place is closed. Outside the building it says appointment only but they make it extremely difficult to even get in contact with them. Website also provides zero information but just pictures.

They are the best! We got cakes from them for our grand opening they these were delicious!! Yam yam yam.

Brie and Mariston catered our wedding and it was phenomenal. The food and service was excellent, and it was much cheaper (and tastier) than some of the much larger, well known catering companies in the triangle. After my first bite during our tasting I was ready to sign the contract. Not only were all of our guests taken care of, Brie made sure that we were fed (and had food to go in case we were still hungry). I’d recommend Cake Coture to anyone planning a wedding in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

I was at a wedding yesterday in Garner at The Distillery and I have to leave a review for the caterers, Cake Couture. They catered the wedding and the dinner was so delicious. We had both chicken and brisket. So flavorful and tender. All of the food was great! We were one of the last tables served and the food came out hot. That doesn't happen often when your plate is brought to your table. If they had a food restaurant, I would eat there! Of course I couldn't this review without saying the cupcakes were delicious too! Great job Cake Couture!!

Cake Couture catered our wedding and oh my god is their food fantastic!!! Adds an extra flavorful flare that we so loved and appreciated to classic wedding foods. People could not stop commenting on how tasty the hors d'oeuvres and meal were. Their flavors and creative combinations are what made their catering stand out from the rest.Overall from a business standpoint, their pricing is fair and they have a great amount of creative options. They were typically very quickly responsive but were occasionally challenging to contact; that being said it is just her and her husband running the company and they do an excellent job prioritizing responses as the date gets closer.Brie is extremely attentive to detail and made beautiful touches like a wedding night picnic basket for us at the end of the night <3. She also made the vegetarian option within a similar flavor style to the rest of the meal, as well. They offer a tasting of your chosen items, and help to pack up and send you home with the leftover food, as well!We would absolutely recommend Cake Couture to anyone!!
