Delicious! They make their own tortillas and mole sauce, and you can tell. Service was great! Portion size was just right.

Awesome service, good drinks and tacos to die for! Relaxed atmosphere, definitely recommend if tacos are your thing

Weird spot. It was cute and had good prices on drinks. The flamingo drink is better than it has any business being. They also sat the only other people in the restaurant directly next to us, so much for social distancing, I guess? When I asked for a Red Oak (they have a huge sign for it behind the bar and it’s on the menu) the server gave me a weird look and offered me a Truly (??) before telling me they have a different amber lager. I guess they got sick of us at one point because he just brought the check without saying anything or asking if we wanted anything else.We didn’t order food so I can’t comment on that!

Very clean, friendly staff however the food was not good. They don’t use any seasoning at all! Food is very bland! While the atmosphere is a good vibe I wouldnt return. Also seems like a good bar hop spot but the drink also aren’t good. They do use lots of alcohol but the flavors and drink selections are horrible. I really Wanted to love this place.

I'm glad we passed this place and saw it open again on the way to Morgan Street food hall. We had to turn around and YUM! We had a delicious lunch. Their salsa, queso and chips are some of the best I've had around Raleigh. My chicken quesadilla had generous amounts of meat and cheese, and my wife really likes their wings believe it or not. ? Everything is fresh, service is friendly and drinks are perfect!

This was our first time eating out during the pandemic and our first visit to this restaurant. Calavera staff did a great job of mask wearing and socially distancing and we felt completely safe. We also had the BEST food and drinks. Service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

I mean, this is so good. It's borderline underrated. The sauces and salsas are made fresh, in-house, you can tell, trust me.If you haven't tried aqua fresca before, order it here. The food is so good. The service is always good and friendly.Their patio is sick (that means it's good). This place is one of my Raleigh faves. It's simple and good. It's not your average Mexican food. It's so much better.Trust me, it's good.

Had dinner here with the fam. We got the barbacoa platter, chicken quesadilla, and barbacoa, shrimp and mushroom tacos.Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The red and green salsas were on point! would come back to try more. Special shout out for the music selection!

The same name and location, but different food. At first I was skeptical, but the food and drinks were fantastic. I've never had a corn tortilla quesadilla and it did not disappoint!

The food was okay at best. Selection was poor though this may be due to Covid. The sever was fantastic!!
