they drive that food truck like they own the road.

Food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Meat Candy!

I’m telling you, these guys are just good old school people. The food is fresh and delicious, the chit chat is fun while you’re waiting, and they really care to give you a good bite.

We had the Italian Beef Sandwich (DO NOT SKIP THIS), the Chicago Dog and the Pastrami Sandwich. All of it was absolutely delicious. And I’m posting photos/videos, but don’t judge the pastrami from my photo, I literally got the last sandwich, and I promise you that although it was a little light on meat, it was packed with flavor and fresh.

We will 100% be back!

im leaving a 5 star review with the hopes that i will love it. i learned of this truck and was thrilled to find it had moved to Apex, where I live. After checking the website i saw hours of 11-3. i left work in Chapel Hill early so I could get my fix, only to arrive at 145pm and find no food truck. Bummer! Hopefully Capones materializes at some point, or at least updates their website. I'd love to try it! But be warned... I'm from Chicago and will leave an honest review!

Super nice people and they have really done their homework. He spent years seeking the right ingredients that he knew were of great quality and man does it show! If you are in the area this is a must try!

If I could give it a 0, I would. Disorganized and not at all sanitary.

I love Capone’s hot dogs. I usually get the Carolina dog with hole, mustard, and slaw! I think they are the best in Raleigh.

Is Andy from Chicago? I don't know. Is he a Cubs fan? He darn well better be. But you know what else? Best Italian beef sandwich this side of the moon (outside Chicago). The last amazing Italian beef sandwich I had was in Chicago. I tried a couple here in Wake County but nahhhh, not worth my time. The gristle alone was enough to send me to my dentist for lock jaw. Andy's first question is an important one, peppers or giardiniera. Choose wisely or choose and come back the next day to have another! Next very important question, which I don't get asked around here is "wet"? F'yeah! Duh. We are not talking about fall apart wet. Find the right bread and wet is just a matter of delicious. Then the magic happens. I have been eying this truck for ages and little did I notice, they're not too far from home. I can sneak out at lunch and go get my dog on, my Italian beef on, my pastrami on. The world is my oyster...or sandwich. He has a nice setup to sit and eat, soak up some sun, shoot the breeze with Chef Andy, or just look at your phone. I'm not the boss of you. This is the best I've had and I'll be back!

Best pastrami sandwich I have ever had! This thing is delicious!! The "meat candy" is 100% worth the price here. I will definitely be back for many more!
