We haven’t been to Captain Stanley’s in a while, and it’s sad to say that the food was not good at all. The food tasted like it sat in a warmer. It was not hot at all. Won’t be going back in the future. Very disappointed. Our waitress was very nice and pleasant. That was a plus!

My husband a I picked up take out a few nights ago and this place has definitely fallen off. The food had no flavor everything was bland. The food used to be good, but definitely a no go anymore for me.

They didn't cook my friends rib eye correctly and waitress and wait staff pretty slack. While they were trying to ask who got which plate the waitress was breathing right near the plate of food. This place isn't what it was at all years ago. Hush puppies first batch we're not hot either.

Takeout order. Today's service from Jr was a disaster. He got the order wrong and did not give a receipt. Told me he could not get my receipt because he helped another customer after me. I asked for someone else to help and that person duplicated the receipt. When asked for his name he said Jr which is probably not his real name. Supervisor today is Michele who was serving a party at the time. Will report to her later regarding Jr's behavior. He was not cordial at all.

I have been eating at Capt Stanley's since Laverne opened. The new owners are letting the food quality suffer. The food tonight was the worst.
If the quality is not good, don't serve it. Tell the customer you are not satisfied with what you have. Buy quality, serve quality .
Also, please come up with some special dishes at night. Rotate them just like you so at lunch.
One more opportunity to get it together

This is an updated review from my last on 5 years ago. Much better experience. Food was hot fresh and flavorful. Hush puppies and sweet tea were really good.

NEVER AGAIN!!😡😠.My First Time There.
The time was 1:54pm.They close at 2pm. I was not aware of. I was in the parking lot. Places my order. I ordered a FRIED Flounder sandwich. After paying. I got home, it was Grilled or bake. The next day i called back 3 times, an got the run around. Was told I should of looked at my food. Really!! I never knew a seafood restaurant who sell bake or grill food. I will never be returning there again or my friends. CAROLINA FISH FRY TASTE BETTER ANYWAY!!
GO EAT THERE PEOPLE!!
