We ordered chicken wings, and it was so salty.I dont know the whether the wings come prepackaged with the salt or they are adding it, please always remember its the people like you who are going to eat and you have to make it taste good. The beer was good. The waitress was good too. But the order was so late and may be because it was crowded but anyway, there are lots of reasons and places where you need to improve on.

Every time I come here my experience has been progressively worse. I am severely disappointed and will never be returning to this location. This time I ordered a 12 count of wings and they were ice cold. Like came out of the fridge cold. Keep this up and I can’t see you sustaining a business. Much better sports bars to visit in Raleigh

The manger in this night was very rude. The waiter did so make me aware of an 18% gratuity and. Refuse to comp the gratuity stating it was company policy. It was not posted on the doors or stated in the beginning

My Husband and I have been coming here for years and the last few experiences have been terrible to be nice about it. We even hesitated before coming in tonight, but we said they look slow so maybe it will be OK! SO NOT THE CASE!! First let me say the bartender was on point and none of this was her fault drinks all came on point and on time. We were 3 out of 6 people sitting at the bar. My husband and I ordered food. I got the grilled chicken Cobb salad and he got the general tso's bowl. We were waiting so long my husband and his friend went up to the rooftop to smoke. While he was gone I saw my salad sitting in the service window under a great lamp! Who puts salads under heat lamps?? Sat there at least 10 min finally they bring my salad which was served on a hot plate again who serves salad in a hot plate and tell me they're still waiting on my husband's food. So I start to eat and my chicken is burnt and dry to the point I can't eat the chicken. My husband comes back and his food still is not here. Another 5-10 minutes go by and he just cancels his order all together. I literally eat 1/8 of this salad and push it away and politely talk to the manager Allyssa. Then we get our bill and my salad for 14.99 which was inedible was still on our bill. The bartender sends Allyssa over now mind you this is the first time she came to speak with us the last time I had to seek her out. I asked why my salad was on the bill and she responds I'll give you a discount??? A discount on something I didn't eat that was trash on your cooks mistakes. I'm in the industry and have been for 30 years the restaurant I'm in now we comp $200 streaks if we don't hold our standards. This was the last and final try for you Ale House we'll never be back so sad because we used to really enjoy coming here!!

My best friend, his family, and I visited this place for his birthday! The food, the service, and the atmosphere was amazing! The proximity to the parking deck made it a winner over other restaurants in the area! Best choice ever!Parking: Plenty of garage and street parking!
Over charged even after explaining what was mine vs my friends. Ended up getting charged for my buddy's drinks and I was the DD and didn't drink anything alcoholic.

Came to Carolina ale house to get a quick snack! For ACC! full house for sure! Maria was INCREDIBLE! I highly suggest you ask for her when it comes to Service! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was good! Despite having a bunch of other people to take care of, she was just over all amazing! Great food!

We watched the NC State game with Maria as our waitress! Despite being so busy with March Madness she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! She made out first trip to Carolina Ale House wonderful!
I loved it there and had a great experience! My servers name was Maria and she was very polite and very helpful all night long, fast server and made my night there memorable. Would highly recommend that y’all ask for her to be your server when you go here, you won’t regret it!

Went to grab a bite to eat and watch the basketball game with some friends. They weren’t busy at all yet we were sat and just sat there for 15 mins before anyone approached. After that we got food without utensils. The food was fine, can’t really complain there. The game finished and we finished yet we were left sitting there just waiting for a bill. Not once were we approached or asked if we wanted more drink/refills. Probably the worst service I’ve ever had. Half the servers seem to have an attitude and not care. Sad for a place that is usually well liked and popularly visited on Glenwood.

I wouldn't recommend going here later at night. The late night bites menu was scarce which is fine but I ordered the nachos and it was very obviously thrown together with incorrect ingredients as I have ordered these before and they were very different. The ones I received were basically melted shredded cheese on chips. However this was bearable, what really irritated me was when it came time to pay. The bartender handed me a screen to fill out reading "enter a custom tip", only displaying the total and a spot to manually enter a tip. I tipped over 20% on this total and clicked next on the screen to sign. The next screen had me realize she had already applied an automatic gratuity of 18% and handed me a deceiving screen to receive a larger tip, a screen you had to click the custom tip button to get to. In the moment I did not say anything but wish I had. I do not appreciate the bartender deceiving me like that and wish I remembered her name to include. It was not honest service and she knew what she was doing when she pulled up the screen she presented to me.
